NGL, the Kiriko Witch skin isn't even that good

I’m not saying that it’s bad per-se, I just think that it’s… completely unremarkable, and I’m certain that there were other ideas that could been a lot better for Kiriko. For example, a Vampire-hunter themed skin would’ve been perfect for her; especially if it follows a similar design to Cassidy’s Van Helsing. Replace her kunai with throwing stakes, design her suzu to look like a garlic ball, and honestly, just give her the same paper that she currently has for her witch skin.

So far the only skin that i found better for kiriko outside of her base skin is the epic mastori one everything else has been unappealing or out of character.

Ya i mean its haloween they could have gone with a straight kitsune themed fox demon skin.

I agree. I think the Witch skin is good. But it’s not even close to being worth the price.

How dare you say this when Brig has an actual vampire hunter skin.

I like the concept more than the execution. I thought I would want it based on the trailer and store image, but the actual skin leaves a lot to be desired.

The skin looks like bootleg witch mercy.

Like there are so many different things you can do with witch outfits and they chose the most generic.

I mean, they even went through the trouble of making her a fortune teller in revenge of the bride. Make her Suzu a crystal ball and her ofuda tarot card by examply, fits the thematic of the event and her design better.

Now that I realize, a lot of the legendary skins so far released in Overwatch 2 like the two Kiriko legendary skins, the Junker Queen legendary skins and the witch skin are honestly really bad compared to other legendary skins.

I guess it makes sense since this game is becoming lower and lower quality as time goes on.

I actually mentioned this about Kiriko’s skins in another post, but yeah, I completely forgot about JQ and they’re equally if not worse than Kiriko’s default legendaries.

I don’t think being out of character is an issue,the majority of Halloween skins aren’t.If anything it’s way more in character than Mercy’s witch skin,since she’s an evil witch and Kiriko is a good witch.

The Kiriko Witch Skin wants to be Mercy Witch Skin so bad and honestly Kiriko’a version is so boring, lack luster, try hard skin ever.

Then the kicker is the price :joy:
