We already know that the upcoming update that will most likely drop tomorrow only has nerfs to tanks and a support. How come Blizzard will nerf the best tank comp at the moment (Sigma and Orisa) and nerf the best support for said comp (Brig) but there are still no nerfs to Ashe and Mcree. One of the reasons double sheild even exists is because of the insane amount of burst dmg. I’m all for nerfing Sig and Brig but Ashe and Mcree deserve there nerfs just as much.

agreed completely. all of it needed to be addressed in the same patch, and their failure to do so is going to leave a bitter taste in the future even when they are nerfed
ashe especially is in desperate need of nerfs

stun duration was nerfed last patches, Ashe dynamite cooldown was increased 20%. Tanks are op not damage.
If I had to guess
The meta in GM will start as Rein/Sigma
The meta below 3500 will undoubtedly be Rein/Zarya
But the meta might just maybe shift to some form of dive in GM later on.
If we’re lucky, they’ll give Orisa/Dva/Hog buffs down the road that aren’t on Halt/DM/Hook so ladder can actually play more than the same 2 tanks.
Please. Its going to be Rein/Zarya because that combo is so fresh and new for the game.

Tanks are OP at the highest ranks. For 90% of games, with barely any teamwork, tanks are already a pain to play (hence the shortest queue times). And the experimental card makes them feel like garbage.
Tanks should do less damage, and DPS and HPS should be tuned down as well. All this power creep makes it so you can kill a Primal Rage Winston in 2 seconds. The original point of that ult was to make space by being extremely resource consuming to kill as you displace the enemy, and now it just an eject button because you need over 1000 health to survive long enough to escape a risky dive.
If DPS and HPS aren’t going to be turned down, all the tanks need their base health doubled. Mei and Doomfist are tankier than most of the tanks in the experimental card.
they gotta do something about (burst) damage and sustain in one patch, like

reworking/replacing immortality

changing Bap’s burst-heal
(maybe give him a heal-overtime on his nades that gets “finished” by the next nade, so instead of
BURST - BURST - BURST
you get HOT (heal over time) BURST HOT BURST HOT
or give him lower aoe-healing and an impact-heal on his projectiles for single-target -
stretch regen burst to 6 seconds with less HPS (still total 150 heals)

increase Bio-heal cooldown (2-3 secs), as with less shields there is less counters to the anti-effect and it reduces the extra sustain created by it

not allow some abilities to be damage-boosted anymore (ash dynamite, dragonblade), but allow mercy to gain ult-charge from damage-boosting

therefore give genji his damage and/or RoF back but reduce D-Blade charge-time a bit

take away one of brig’s heal packs (revert other nerfs accordingly if needed), possibly stretch out the heal a bit more
nerf the armour that rally provides -
revert some of the recent ash buffs or nerf her differently

take away some damage from the DPS like soldier helix CD nerf, Mccree RoF nerf, junk primary fire revert, generally minor nerfs to reduce the overall damage

zen and lucio are pretty alright when it comes to their healing, the only thing I’d do is maybe (if needed) reduce charge rates of their ults, mostly if zenyatta’s experimental changes go through

reduce widow-hp / increase charge-time / let her screen “wobble” when shot at
DEFINITELY reduce scoped-HS multiplicator or damage so she can still oneshot but deals less damage to tanks
i dunno what to do about doom, that design is horrific

Mccree has below a 50% winrate
As do AoE healing so that damage doesnt need to be as high as it is right now. If they nerf healing, trash heroes such as soldier become decent, tanks become more flexible, and then they can SAFELY nerf stronger overtuned dps like ashe, mccree, nerf tracer’s range back, etc etc.
But if they ever consider nerfing aoe healing to make this possible, ppl would just cry on the forums so unlucky. Burst dmg is one of the biggest issue right now, but it’s only a must because of the effects that AoE healing brings.
We have 4 healers centered around AoE healing, up from ONE how it used to be. It used be AoE healing was small and gradual like with lucio, to it being a main source of output from baptiste and moira (and brig sorta).
While i dont agree with all of these, the foundation of this is really good and something they should look for. Theres a reason why lucio and zen are so difficult to get value out of.
Also they should really revert most of the stun changes they made. Stuns werent really an issue during double shield anyways (aside from Mei dominating every game), so not really sure why they nerfed things like flashbang and earthshatter when you couldnt even get a shatter off against 2 shields anyways lmao

ashes dynamite serves an outdated purpose that needs to be changed if the game is going to move on. It has AOE burn damage because they were trying to make a hero able to mitigate the healing of GOATs, GOATs isnt a thing anymore, AOE healing needs nerfs, so ashes dynamite in turn needs nerfs as well
more than one role can have overpowered heroes, DPS has less overpowered heroes, but they still need to be put in check just like the rest
I think Ashe implementation was nothing to do with goats, it was just coincedence, cant remember when 1st bunker meta was, probbably between s13-15 here what she was okay/good against. The concept “ability is against xxx” is not a case here aswell, because damage dealer kit designed to help doing them kills, not speciefics. With your logic I can say scatter arrow was replaced with storm arrow to help hanzo to deal with phara, which is not true, but seems like that. Dynamite is a trash damage and doesn’t require any tweaks, ashe was ballanced, AoE healing will be never nerfed, sligt aoe like lucio heal/brig inspire is already negate dynamite impact, and charges support ults faster than bob. And these ~20 aoe healing always will be in game.
And about cree, he is trash, nomatter of his firerate.
Shes still like the most played dps in high ranked ow. Dynamite cd nerf doesn’t do anything.
They tweak her power from spaming dynamite to spaming shots. Which decreases her skill floor a ton, that’s why she become popular. They need to revert all changes being done, only faster unscope animation is healthy here. Spread and +3 ammo was very questionable, better give +5 ammo to soldier (+10 even better)
