Next Hero Needs A Flamethrower

Then: Overwatch is a TF2 rip-off
Now: Give the next hero a flame thrower
Future: Just make Spy a hero in OW already

So, FarCry is a rip-ff of TF2 because it have a flamethrower in it?

I agree it needs to happen, it would be the best thing to happen to the game! Just knowing that the game was inspired by TF2 which has Pyro makes it so wieird that the game doesnt have a fire hero yet.

A passive in which if u go near the character, you get burnt would be nice.

Give them a “DIE, INSECT!” voice line and you’ve got my support.

Originally I was thinking a flamethrower tank that creates circles of flammable oil as area denial but that was more to fill the anti-flanker role…

I think the next hero needs to fill a particular role. Question is… what’s the role they are going to fill?

I think we need another aim-heavy hero. Maybe a tank, so that we can get the hitscan gods playing tanks, hopefully making solo less of a hellhole.

How’s that going to work though? A high-aim dependent tank sounds similar to Orisa

Not necessarily. They could feature slow, power hitscan bursts, or function at long range with little to no fall-off. The lack of travel time would make them very different to Orisa.

It needs to be the Cat like in one of those fan animations. lol

But why would they be a tank if they’re long range? How would they create space or mitigate damage from the other side of the battlefield?

Because they could be a new playstyle.
Before Ana, were people saying that a healer could be a sniper?

I’ll admit I haven’t put a great deal of thought into it, but a tank who works from range, and blocks damage that way could be real cool.

Why do you need a flametorwe ppl will just
Cry that its unskilled.

Yes to the ana-thing… it’s almost directly from TF2 Medic’s crossbow to shot allie’s to heal them. Even if you say that the Medic’s crossbow bolts were projectiles, the concept of shooting allies to heal them isn’t anything new under the sun.

Well if you figure how to put the idea into an easy-to-understand game mechanic then I’d very much be interested as to how it works.

I’ll put some thought into it then: watch this space.
