Ah so here comes the Dva replacement hero and the reason why they had to nerf matrix. It all makes sense now.

Lemme guess, they too can fly and they have Matrix version 4.0. Otherwise we’d have… 2 matrixes and it would be apparently too busted, regardless that sustained damage would still kill that kind of comp.

They are reworked. Higher poly models, textures, la princesse has a new thing under it which i cant tell what it is

Map assets get updated sometimes, the fact that it’s for so many models probably means that it was an art department decision - and frankly this game hasn’t given us a single character we’ve asked for since Doomfist?

To not hype yourself to mutch think about it that way
They made tracer motor bike model just for short cutscene, and to do anything more with it they made it as a main game screen.
There is no reason to expect those as next heroes for now. Especialy that even if so, development of new heroes take then to long time to add all of them even in one year. And there is still Echo waiting for her realise.

I think Casino’s mech looks the coolest. He’s kind of generic husbando bait himself though.

Be cool if one of the Meka disappeared a little before the launch of the hero, doomfist style.

I forget the name of it, but there was an Overwatch-like game where you still picked any heroes you wanted, but those heroes were grouped into distinct factions.
Overwatch seems to be doing the same thing: At announcement, heroes only had a loose connection at best, but with the addition of new heroes and lore clear groups are forming. Either friends, close rivals, family, or a mix.

There’s:

  • Junkertown gang, consisting of Junkrat, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball, and inevitably Junkerqueen
  • Torbjorn, Brigitte, Reinhardt, and Mercy
  • Dedicated Overwatch members: Winston, Mei, Tracer, Mercy, Soldier 76, Ana, Reinhardt, maybe some I’ve missed
  • Dedicated Talon members: Doomfist, Moira, Reaper, and Widowmaker (Sombra is unloyal)
  • Ana and Pharah
  • McCree and Ashe
  • Hanzo and Genji

That means the only heroes that aren’t in any clear grouping (have only loose connections to others) are:

  • Zenyatta
  • Baptiste
  • Sombra
  • D.Va
  • Orisa
  • Symmetra
  • Bastion

The heroes that have pretty much zero connection to others are:

  • D.Va
  • Symmetra

Everyone hates Symmetra, so it makes perfect sense that the next faction to start emerging in the roster will be one around D.Va.

I would have to say that Symmetra is some-what relevant as Vishkar is tied to Talon in which she is directly related to.

D.VA and the MEKA squad on the otherhand has literally nothing to do with OW.

And you never know if it just like someone there who made bike model before and they just reuse all they can to keep stuff looking differend with the less work possible,
