This doesn’t make any sense. “Because the rules are made so you can not be right anymore” ? What does that mean ?
So how is it for instance that people like me (and we are a lot in this case) that were never banned ? Maybe because having a good behavior doesn’t get you a suspension or ban, no ?
Act civil, play as a team, be nice and no ban, pretty simple to understand in my book.
Even if it is automated, you still need to get a lot of reporting in a short amount of time to get banned. I once played heroes that were not meta, I was insulted for “onetricking” an entire game, never got banned.
Not willing to work with your team, playing the same hero a whole season without caring if it makes your team lose, insulting them when they ask you to switch etc… is considered as Disruptive gameplay and behavior.
I’ll make it simple to you. It it’s more important for someone to play what they want in Competitive than trying to win can be considered as Disruptive gameplay at a certain elo. It doesn’t mean you can’t play what you want if you’re working with your team, communicating and being overall nice towards them.
The problem is that many people like you believe that most people that get reported for Disruptive gameplay are “angels” that are victims of mean players. It’s not always the case.
However, I know there are people that are false reporting people that onetrick but are nice and play as a team. That, I agree is not right and should be sanctioned too.
My point is, reporting is very subjective and is hard to explain on a forums since we can’t give an accurate context. The best way is to record the game and see for yourself.
Cases of false reporting and cases of rightfully reporting Disruptive gameplay both exist and I fail to understand why some people on these forums refuse to believe it, especially when we can witness it on a lot of Youtube videos or streams.
I already told you the system needs improvement but it doesn’t mean we should remove that system altogether in the meantime. Imagine the chaos it would create if no one was ever banned from now on.
It would become an even less safe place that it already is.
That’s because people are often bitter, angry and use the game to express their personal frustration. That’s not what a game is for but we all tend to forget that. Losing is part of the game so is playing as a team in a good environment.
That’s why there are rules. It is very coincidental for an innocent player to get banned because of a big amount of false reporting due to the automated system.
I’m not saying it doesn’t exist but if we’re being honest, there are more people that got banned and are only trying to making it pass as something that was unfair simply because they can’t take responsiblity for their own action.
