New Symm = TOTALLY UN-FUN

I’m actually really mad. Totally ruined Overwatch for me.

Symm now lost her tele and instead gained a passive “Your Allies respawn 2 seconds faster”

EDIT: I used to main Symm. I love the damage increase; you finally made her viable. But you ruined TP at the same time. Infinite TP is a NERF it is not a buff. Because the cooldown only starts once the TP is destroyed it makes you far less agile.

EDIT2: AND NOW WTFFF??? YOU"RE GETTING RID OF THE DMG BUFF AND KEEPING THE CRAP TP??? WTTTFFFF. My Favourite hero is getting totally ruined. I mean I hate you but I’d rather you deleted a hero rather than just moving them to F Tier.

Her survivability is so poor at the moment. Her only saving grace is that her uitimate and turrents are strong. Her left click at 195 dps is fine considering she needs to be in so close and she’s so vulnerable.

I know I hate playing against her now that she’s not a throw pick anymore too.

Why is she unfun to play against?

What’s so bad about sym

OP: “Sym killed me for the first time, she was a good character when I could wipe the floor with her, how dare she come at me and burn my toes” OH NOES!

Symm is not a throw pick anymore? That’s shocking.

Below Masters she certainly is not.

Partially boosted by the fact that people lack matchup experience but she is fairly viable in her current state.

Like unfun to play or play against? Is she the next one on the Sombra and Mei nerf block?

Its hilarious; the reality is she and Zarya got a minimal change in the beam output, and suddenly its a crisis. I suspect if no one actually knew about the “buff” they would never have said a word in most cases. Funny how no one is complaining about Zarya, but she is played far, far more and deals over time a boat load more beam damage… I do both characters, I see it clearly.

What’s interesting is how many people aren’t aware the fix also bumped Moira’s damage a tad along with Winston’s…

I mean people didn’t really like playing against Sym even at her worst.

Tell me a character people like playing against that bests them, does it ever feel really good though? Is a head-shot burst by Soldier:76 a pleasurable experience or McCree?

Yeah but less so, the more wonky your aim is, the stronger the buff is.

Of course for me, it is a very strong buff

If it isn’t Mei right clicks I’m not hitting them.

I don’t really mind soldier no.

I think you meant to say the better your aim the more impacting the change right? My understanding was that it only made a difference if your tracking was good…

Other way around. The first tick of having your aim on the target did less damage. so if your aim constantly went on and off the target, you were always only doing minimal damage.

Now, you get full damage for the first tick.

People with wonky aim, are ALWAYS on the first tick because their tracking is so bad, there isn’t a second tick on target

I’m sorry, I forgot being wrecked by enemy dps was supposed to be a fun experience for the victim.

Lemme just swap to doomfist from now on. =)

Sorry to ask this but , what is the difference with the old Symm and current patch? did they change something another than the tele?

See, to me, a death is a death… if people took that attitude it wouldn’t matter, the end result is the same no matter what the kit if its reasonable. If you die charging into turrets, that’s on you, not Sym. If Sym has to close to a range you should be able to shoot her (like Mei) and you fail, then you can’t overly complain if she needed a modicum of skill to kill you. I object most to characters like Moira, Rein and frankly Brig who have primaries that are all but automatic shots up close. That being said, I realize they have their points in play the are effective, I don’t have to like it to be fair.

It’s not just about dying. Orisa is incredibly obnoxious and I almost never die to specifically Orisa. It’s the playstyle she enforces.

People being annoyed by Symmetra’s kit is nothing new.
