Yes, im serious. This is awful. What theyve done is make ranking up 1 division 10x more impossible than before. “BuT tHaT’S a SkILL iSsUe”, no its not. This is a team-based game, you cant just solo-carry and rank up. You need a GOOD TEAM to win, not just one good person. Besides, winning doesnt even progress you as much as losing will un-progress you. You play for hours and hours, but nothing changes. Unless they improve this ranking system, I prefer the older one because I found it easier to rank up. Theres gonna be arguements Im sure, or maybe Im considered weird, but thats my opinion. NOT A FACT OBVIOUSLY.

Completely agree, and one new issue. If you are a masters, or even grand master level player but you want to be in a specific rank like; for example silver, to get easier lobbies and higher stats each match. Then all you have to do is party up with any silver player and even if you win 8 out of 10 placement matches, you will still get your rank placed in high silver or low gold. Moreover, if you try this then you will get hard stuck in silver-gold lobbies for 50 or so matches which means you can play hundreds of comp games before your rank catches up to your actual skill level.
The system is absolutely broken and I encourage every high ranking player to try this out on a smurf until they fix it.
