Nice off-topic there. You’re better than this, come on.
By your logic, Junkrat, Roadhog, Sym, Ashe, Zarya, Lucio, Hammond and Hanzo could be removed. They aren’t linked to Overwatch in any way.

It’s not an insult.
It’s a fact.

Not with the Overwatch organisation, but the heroes you listed do play a part in lore, some as a small supportive character.

• Junkrat and Roadhog stole from Vishkar Corporation and they are wanted. Their home is Junkertown which is connected to Hammond and therefore Winston.
• Symmetra is an employee of Vishkar Corporation, that has ties with Talon.
• Ashe is connected to McCree and was after Echo in the short.
• Zarya is hunting Sombra, who is a member of Talon.
• Lucio plays a big part in the upcoming PVE mode in OW2.
• Hammond is connected to Lunar base, Junkertown and Winston.
• Hanzo… Well, he is connected to Genji, who has played a major part in the main lore and lore of others.

This is not the case with Dva. She has no connection to any other hero in the lore nor has she played a part with the Overwatch organisation, Talon organisation or Vishkar Corporation, which are all connected.

This is why I said she could be removed from Overwatch, and it would only affect the game itself. This is why I have always asked for more Dva lore.

She really is more like a standalone character, and seeing how she lack tied-lore since day 1 and the type of cosmetic items she has received, is she more clearly more treated as a fanservice character than a serious character.

But that’s not what you answered to. That post mentioned Reaper’s design having no place in the game and that’s correct. You can’t have one hero counter every memeber of a class, as that either makes them mandatory or negates enemy picks with no alternatives, especially with 2-2-2.

This is merely your take on it.
It’s your opinion.

In my opinion does a tank buster like Reaper belong in this game, but I also think we need more heroes in the tank roster who can deal with this. So I don’t think the problem lies at Reaper, but more with the lack of tanks and available counterplay, especially in 2-2-2, so I do agree with your second point.

But this is merely my opinion.

Except any DPS, who get hit between six months to two years late, and Rein, Ana and Lucio.

It does seem there is some form of favouritism, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying that the devs hate Dva and want to see her gutted.

I do think Reinhardt needs to be addressed though.

GM is the most meta focused rank, and this is only from this week. Her pickrate is higher if I look at monthly stats.

Not to mention OWL.

I hate to break it to you, but Dva is meta.
