If I had to guess probably GOATS nerfs
Aren’t we already buffing Bastion and molten core and nerfing Brig today?
The Brig nerfs make goats better (look it up)
And the Torb/bastion changes ain’t gonna do smack to goats.
They should counter goats but they’re simply not powerful enough to counter goats
Won’t do much to GOATs. Bastion can’t work through all of the shields quickly enough on most maps (HLC is a notable exception), and Torb can’t build his ult up fast enough because of the same barrier issue.
molten core should instantly destroy any armor.

I’m still hoping for Reinhardt nerfs. Might help knock GOATs down a bit, and will certainly open up other Tanks for use lower down the ladder.

That sounds like it’s more from being vindictive than actually trying to help the game.
So does asking for nerfs to a hero who doesn’t need them. Reinhardt is not OP, he’s a victim of circumstance, he’s one of two Anchor Tanks, and one of 3 main Tanks. Not to mention, Reinhardt is the stereotypical Tank, his protection is the most reliable. We just need more Tanks in general

We’re not getting any new tanks for at least 3 months (rumour has it next is support, so make that 7). Then they have to be balanced and integrated.
He is a clear problem on every step of the ladder, right up to GM. They’ve tried and tried to deal with him by looking at so many symptoms now, but nothing has worked. They need to get to grips with him and deal with him head on.
Otherwise it’s more GOATS for Masters+, and neverending Rein-Zarya for everyone else.
That might be okay for you, so long as it’s someone else playing them for you. It’s not okay for those of us who you expect to be playing him.
And you certainly can’t look at buffing Orisa and Winston and putting them into GOATs as well.

Reinhardt it unique he is the only tank/anchor-tank, that can move his barrier.
Nerf him that nobody want’s to play maintank anymore or what?

I’m up and happy to read everything else.
No one wants to play main tank anyway. It’s okay for all the many, many DPS mains I’ve had to play with this weekend (yes, a lot of 4, 5, even 6 DPS matches in comp which I’ve not seen forever) who demand and expect someone else to do that job, but for those of us who do tank to keep being pressganged into “REINHARDT PLEASE”, “REINHARDT OR I THROW”. etc. It’s not cool.
You want us to have that variety. You really do.

You ever notice how GOATS isn’t Reins fault at all and how Rein is swapped out in many GOATS variations?
Yeah, nerfing him will definitely make GOATS worse. It won’t just make people swap Rein out for a Winston or anything…

It means he might be more situational and give us that choice to go with Orisa or Winston instead. Or maybe even DPS heroes.
