New progression system

does anyone know if the new progression system will be like borders where your icon slowly gains stars and wings before changing to a different rarity (bronze, silver, gold, plat, diamond)

or will it just be bronze but say “1500” or smth

I’m level 10 with Kiriko and it changed with there is some gold (I think it is) in the emblem or button or what you call it…

I’m still not sure when titles and cards unlock. Progression is nice, but it should show you what you’re progressing toward.

Click on “i” icon on top of progression screen for more info.

You get icon like you see from this video

Go to challenges and then click on hero. Over there you will find on which level title & card would unlock.

They had to get rid of border stuff because Bronze players with Diamond borders were getting horribly made fun of in ranked games.

I don’t think they’ll add stuff like that anymore.

nah but it actually gave us something to grind for other than ranked (+ theres no point of grinding ranked with ow2’s terrible ranked system)

but yea i remember diamond borders being made fun of a lot especially otp

I’m Level 23 with Illari rn and every 10 levels the icon updates, rn the 'wing’s on it for me are all lit up.

does anyone know if the actual icon on ur profile changes at some point (the one to the right of the ow1 level border)

Let us choose what progression border we want + start putting borders in the BP as filler.
Problem solved.
(borders aren’t the most amazing thing in the world but atleast they’re easy to make + you see them constantly unlike souvenirs)

I think some heroes are easier to progress than others…

Certainly are, Illari for example has a progression for Outburst kills which is… not very common at all.

I’m sure other heroes have more frustrating progression parts to level up.

(But also, I have 30 hours on Illari so that explains my progression level for her lol)

Every 10 levels the emblem on particular hero changes.

I know two FFA maps that have plenty of edges so…
I´m trying to rank up Brigitte and noticed some of the stuff I need to do gives a bunch of XP and some other barely none.

Wins gives a lot xp. But one stat I miss with her is mitigation.
But the play style they promote is going against what Brigg one tricks here says… So IF I play like bodyguard for my other support my progression is hurtfully slow.
