You playing on PC, because, sorry bud but its literally 60% hackers.
We understand your pain.
Its a process.
There maybe more to it than meets the eye.
You hear enemy footsteps more clearly and louder than you do of your own team, that maybe a factor here.
Also note, as a new player you are much easier to read into on how you will behave and quickplay MMR is quite wide (as in you may come across strong players often who will take advantage of this).
Thats quickplay for you.
I dont wannt say its you being bad, I think its you being new and the game definitely has a good learning curve to it.
My only recommendation to you is - make friends with an existing player, Overwatch is game which works best when you have a friend introducing you into it who watches over you to an extent in your games, until you can self solo and know your head from the ground.
If you have no friends and would like general help, all i can say is if you are a Pc player and have discord i’ll be happy to lend a hand and help you through. Let me know.
My discord is
Sawada.
Feel free to add me in. I’ll either put you in touch with friends who will help or be the one who does it for you.
1 day has 24 hours.
less than a day could be 23 hours.
Pretty much he seems to be making sense.
Moving on.
Adding on…
…Given OW tells you total time in your Overview (first menu that pops up on Career Profile)… it would make sense if it was played over a week or weekend.
12min games for 106 games, with 10% additional time for queuing… thats about 23.5hrs of in-game time. But if you estimate the quick games/stomps and backfill (call it 10min games), then we’re looking at ~19.5hrs. So, that’s pretty reasonable for a weekend marathon.
5v5, f2p, the s9 projectile changes, and now perks.
Everything Blizz does in this game makes matches devolve into stompfests more quickly.
Tbh back in OW1, I got my butt kicked for a good 6 seasons before I finally broke out of gold and went straight to Diamond and I even played the beta. I’d say branch out, find your “main” then play that mains “counter” then find a backup and then play that backup’s counter. Queue flex in QP, try to understand the game from the POV of every role.
