Probably because it was intended as compensation for the fade buff and without it there’s no real need to lower her potential DPS, though in general it was a decent change.

Moira is not in a good spot. Giving her that beam nerf will make her even worse without anything else added.

From all the testing I did I didn’t even notice a difference at all. I wasn’t really even focusing on it either because it didn’t feel much different.

I mean, I wasn’t but you did actually have to consider tracking while using it.
Lowering the hitbox of a beam is always going to result in lower dps even if its not much

The aim nerf was to help offset the buff to fade. Moira as is does not need a nerf she isn’t even the third best support.
And no it wasn’t “unanimously agreed upon” that it was a good change, get out from under that rock.

Most Moira players agreed to a dps buff in exchange for a beam width nerf, which is something that came in the form of Orb changes.

haha just decrease it even more by 50 or 60% and up the damage to 60 and a the self heal by 5 or 10 more.
or maybe they could do the orb damage changes on her primary. Pinpoint accuracy increased damage and if you are far off it drops to 30 dps or whatever. (getting healing resource refilled remains the same)
They literally said they are not going forward with the moira changes.

yes lets nerf one of the lowest picked supports in the top ranks and not give any compensation.
They’re only all agreeing with it because y’all harassing them non-stop and they probably fear y’all will try something worse so they agree with you to make you stop and leave them alone.

bully for 1 year since that one youtube made videos and then Moira players get to the point where they are saying “yes just do it” cause they want y’all to leave them alone and stop harassing them and bullying.

That’s exactly why I want them to do it. I’m tired of moira not being allowed to be good because of her “auto aim”.
