Just putting this thread up as speculation and entertainment, as I’m sure more than a few will come to gaslight it.
With the new rework on tanks, you think the cheaters are gonna lean a little harder into their cheats? We saw an uptick in cheaters across the last 3 seasons, I’m curious how they are gonna deal with bad positioning due to the new buffs. This patch will incentivize smarter play and better positioning, both of which we know the cheaters have a difficult time with ( even with walls ) so they won’t be able to help themselves for that delicious win.
I have a little theory that many of these changes are data collecting ( larger hit box size, larger bullets, now more dense tanks ) so that a new level of anti cheat can take place. I’m all for it for sure.

No idea, but I will say I haven’t happened to run into any E1 super-soldiers or spinbotting maugas in the last few days, so that’s nice. Whether that is just luck of the draw or means something remains to be seen. I hope something has changed for the better.
Less encouragingly, I have yet to receive a single report thank you from a three week span that most definitely includes ragehacking E1 76s, spinbotting, and unambiguous TOS violations, so I am a little curious about that. This is a little weird - previously the turnaround time seemed to be a week or two - but with the explosion of flagrant cheating, maybe it’s just running a backlog right now?
I did see someone in another thread claim with no citation provided that only the last person to report an account would be notified, but from a PR standpoint that sounds kind of insane. No information about which report goes with which thank you is provided, and no details on the action taken, so from the standpoint of making your player base think reports matter, why wouldn’t you send one to every account that had reported that offense on given actioned account?
Maybe the default skin cheaters have the system down enough they know how many reports they can risk before getting actioned and are bailing before they make their quota. Maybe there is something to my backlog theory. Maybe that person was right and action notifications are only sent to the last account reporting? Seems like there is a lot of speculation and folklore surrounding the topic.

There is a lot of speculation and folklore surrounding it. With a somewhat significant portion of the player base cheating, the line gets blurred pretty bad. And I’d think that those who go through the know how of cheating would be more inclined to use a forum period, as opposed to a super casual.
It feels like something is happening here on the topic of cheating, and what you say about the thank you for reporting messages is curious indeed. It would really be nice to get this game to where it’s supposed to be. I know people will be floored with how this game can be when the cheaters can’t play that way.The game is really just so good.
