I’ve noticed after opening several loot boxes the hero gallery name displays the word “NEW”, but once I open the hero gallery it’s unclear which hero got new items.
A “NEW” tag to the hero icon who got something new in the hero gallery would already be a huge help.
I hope something gets done for this as it’s rather tedious to go through each hero hoping to find the new item I got.
I rather play the game itself instead of going back and forth in the hero gallery.

They had this in overwatch 1 so I hope they implement something soon.

I posted this to the Blizzard twitter/x to ask if it was a bug or not and attached an image. They replied with they wasn’t sure if it was intentional or not, hopefully it is a bug or unintentional oversight. As DailyBatman pointed out this used to be in OW1 and it is a feature that needs to be there considering all the possible heroes and cosmetics there is to go through to find the new ones.
