I would like to see a support added into the game, that isn’t forced into a healing role. 2 abilities that would solidify its role as a support, and not a healer:

  1. Provide shields for entire team, much like how Symmetra’s Shield generator did, only this will be an ability, not an Ultimate. Because that’s not Ultimate-worthy, its just support.
  2. Damage mitigation: Apply a ‘discord’ similar to Zenyatta’s, to an enemy and another to a friendly hero. 40% of incoming damage to friendly hero is instead routed to the enemy hero.

Fill in the rest.

While its true i feel satanic when i play her i mean lore evil :stuck_out_tongue: Mei wants to save the planet using information form the eco points… my dream hero wants to strangle everyone with vines choke them with toxic spores and bring the world into a new green… and some red age!

Symbiote

200 HP regenerates after not being attacked for a short time

Primary fire shoots very low damaging spines with a ramping dot effect that stacks over time from their still relatively human arm (similar to doomfist but not a spread)

Secondary fire channels a stream of Mercy’s microwhatsamabobs spliced with the symbiote’s essence to heal their team mate but again having a ramp up hot effect

Shift ability vine whip/grapple if the ability hits terrain it pulls Symbiote towards it if however it hits an enemy hero it will knock them back a bit very low damage, very short cooldown to allow high mobility

E ability a seed or clump of mushroom mycelium (its a mushrooms version of roots) the seed with spawn a healing bloom that will give aoe healing to the friendly heros in range, the mycelium will spawn a toxic mushoom that does low ramping aoe damage 8sec cooldown works similar to Moiras orbs giving you a choice the healing seed will have greater value than the mushroom.

Ultimate ability transforms Symbiote into a monstrosity of nature causing them to become immobile for a short duration, gain a large amount of hp and give off both the healing and damaging aura from their E ability at a grater value and range as you become more vulnerable even with your added hp if the enemy manages to crack through the immense hp Symbiote can eject from the monstrous amalgamation of root and spore early keeping up to 100 of the amalgamations hp as a buffer to escape that will decline back to the normal 200hp over a few seconds.

Sanjay Korpal - 200 HP, 100 HP/ 100 Shields

  • Primary Fire - Photon Projector
    DPS: 40/80/120 (Main Target, with each connect target taking 10 less DPS. Will not deal less than 0 damage.)
    Shoots a straight beam at enemies, but chains to nearby enemies (Similar to Valkyrie, but only one at a time, from nearest to furthest), with a decrease in damage for every target.
  • M2: Pain Reflection
    Sanjay takes in the damage he reflects with Pain Link and Protection of Thorns, saving it for a projectile attack. This attack works similarly to Symmetra’s M2, where the more damage it does, the slower it moves, but the bigger the projectile is. Caps at 300 damage
  • E: Pain Link
    Cooldown: 8 seconds (after effect ends)
    Using a Talon modification to his Photon Projector, Sanjay links an ally and an enemy. The ally takes 30% less damage, and the damage will be moved to the enemy. The ally and enemy must have LoS, or Pain Link will break.
  • LShift: Shield Well
    Cooldown: 15 seconds (after placement)
    Duration: 7 seconds
    Shields Granted: 75
    Places a Shield Generator down that has infinite use, but the shields do not regenerate.
  • Ultimate: Protection of Thorns
    Places a Pain Link on every teammate within LoS, but reflecting 50% of damage taken instead of 30%. The damage will be reflected back to whoever deals the damage.

Gēn-Ling Zhou - 250 HP (200 HP/ 50 Shields)

Primary Fire: Vine Whip

  • Uses her Living Root to strike enemies with a whip-like vine.
  • 30 Damage
  • 2.5 swings per second
  • 6 Meters long

Shift: Rooted Steps

  • While activated, Gēn can jump up to 4 times and walk on rapidly growing roots below her, creating steps and bridges over the course of 7 seconds.
  • Can be destroyed. Entire structure has 700 HP.
  • Cooldown: 12 seconds

E: Entangle

  • Creates an area below herself that lasts for 10 seconds
  • When stepped on, roots will cover the enemies, making them unable to move and use abilities.
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds

Ultimate: Cocoon

  • Creates a Hardened Leaf Cocoon around herself for 10 seconds.
  • During Cocoon, Gēn can attack with two giant vines and a poisoning gas that does 10 damage per second for 5 seconds.
  • Vines do a total of 40 damage per swing each. Each vine can only swing once per .5 seconds.
  • Gēn is unable to move while in her Cocoon.
  • Cocoon has 1000 HP

Passive: Hallucination

  • Gēn can see random enemies through walls each 30 seconds for 10 seconds because of her psychotic hallucinations

We need more healers and tank hybrids no more pure dps XD

Mind if I share my concepts for The Queen, Sanjay, Athena and Lynx-17?


Hero: The Queen
Role: Defense
Sub Role: Frontliner / Offtank (Ult)
Occupation: Queen of Junkertown
Base of Operations: Junkertown, Australia
Affiliation: The Junkers

Playstyle: I’d also like to see the Queen as a flamehtrower. The challenge is that imagining the Queen as a flamethrower, as several of you have done, limits a little bit the fantasy of the character. In a way her mechanics will feel very similar to the Pyro from TF2, every other character with a flamethrower in any videogame, and even our own Mei. The actual flamethrower is the spear besides her throne, connected to a cannister on her back (again, very similar to Mei). I have chosen not to use the axe that appears in the poster. As a defense/tank hybrid, her Ult summons the Queen’s battle mech. Doesn’t have “tanking” abilities, but a gains a lot of HP, reduced damage intake, and increased healing. That, plus the larger form, makes her a bit of an offtank.

Look and Feel: You have all seen the picture of the Queen. Regarding the Battle Mech, it either is the “King” mech, or it looks kind of the powerlifter Ripley uses in Alien (with cannons isntead of pliers). All in all, TankGirl comes to mind.

Abilities:

Hero Form: 250 HP

LMB - Flamethrower Spear / 80 dps frontal cone / 2 meter width, 10 meter range / 5 second afterburn. 10 dps / doesnt consume ammo. Overheats after 6 seconds. 1 second downtime / Melee uses spear as a melee weapon (thrust forward).

Passive - Cauterize / Fatal damage brings the Queen to 35% health. Effect triggers automatically / Not on an actual cooldown, but effect can not happen more than once every 20 seconds

E - Petrol Flask / Throws a canister of oil that breaks on impact. Can be thrown on the ground or at enemies. 5 meter radius / By itself it does nothing. In order to to damage, it needs to be ignited with flamethrower / Oil burns for 8 seconds. Enemies affected with ignited oil will burn for 8 seconds at 20 hp per second. Lasts for 4 seconds if not ignited / 10 second cooldown / Enemies affected with ignited oil are not affected with afterburn. (To clarify, if an enemy is hit with the flask, and gets ignited, it will burn for 8 seconds. If the enemy walks into a burning oil patch that had been already burning for 6 seconds, hero will still have burn effect on itself for 8 seconds).

Ultimate - Junkertown’s Gladiator / Summons the Queen’s Battle Mech for 20 seconds / New set of abilities / Falls apart when it reaches 0HP or when Ult time expires / 30% damage reduction and 50% increased healing.

Battle Mech Form: 450 HP

LMB - Twin Fireball Cannons / Shoots fireballs that explode on contact / 8 rounds per second (4 from each cannon) 20 damage per round on direct hit. 10 splash / linear projectiles / Infinite ammo

E - Petrol Flask / 2 charges. Gets ignited with fireballs.

Shift - Intervene / Run at high speed towards a teammate / The idea is to positon the Queen’s Mech next to it’s teammate so it can take damage directed towards ally. Since it might not be very practical in terms of actual bodyblocking, the target of intervene receives a 20HP shield for 2 seconds. 4 second cooldown


Hero: Athena
Role: Support
Sub Role: Secondary Healer
Occupation: Overwatch’s Adjutant
Affiliation: Overwatch

Playstyle: As several of you have I’d like to see Athena as the new support healer in the game. Her primary healing mechanic would be a shield plus a heal over time effect. Her primary weapon would be an energy lash (whip). Would fire like Roadhog’s hook and would attach to the enemy sending a shock wave through it.

Look and Feel: By now most of you should have seen the concept art for Athena. (White robot)

Abilities:

LMB - Energy Lash / 80 Hp on direct hit /20 meter max range / Athena hurls her lash (whip) at a target; if it catches she can use RMB for extra damage / No reload necessary. 1 swing per 1.2 seconds. Holding down LMB will keep Energy Lash attached to target. Target can still move an perform actions. Lash will mantained attached to target for the duration of Taser Shock. Getting out of sight or range frees enemy from Energy Lash.

RMB - Taser Shock / While holding down LMB, Athena can perform a Taser Shock through her Energy Lash / 2 ticks per second. 40 hp per tick / 2.5 seconds max duration / 4 second cooldown.

E - Reboot / Upon dying Athena enters a dormant state and shuts down. While the respawn timer is going on, Reboot can be activated so Athena can respawn at the spot where she “died” (when the respawn timer ends). If the ability is not used before respawn timer runs out, Athena will respawn at her team’s spawnroom. Effect cannot occur more than once in 45 seconds.

Shift - Plasma Shield / Applies 150 Hp shields to allied hero. Shield lasts for 3 seconds / Applies heal over time effect. 50 health per second for 4 seconds - very similar to Tassadar’s ability in HotS /3 second cooldown. Only healing ability

Passive - Cortex Booster / Upon taking damage, Athena gets 10% movement speed for 2 seconds

Ultimate - Power Processor / Grants ally the ability to use its Ultimate for 5 seconds. If ally already has its Ultimate active, upon activation, Power Processor Ultimate will be used first. Upon usage, allied hero’s Ult meter stays as it was when Power Processor was applied. If ally doesn’t use Ult, Power Processor is basically wasted. Charges very slowly.


Hero: Sanjay Korpal
Role: Support
Subrole: Healer / Builder
Occupation: Vishkar’s Head Negotiatior / Talon’s Inner Council Member
HP: 200

Playstyle: Sanjay is a Builder, just as Symmetra and Torbjorn build equipment that help their teammates in battle. Sanjay can Build Hardlight structures (bridges, ramps or walls), just like we saw in Symmetra’s Comic. Sanjay can also build a Health Station at a strategic location that teammates can use to heal up. Keeping up with Vishkar’s light theme, his main weapon is a laser gun and his ult works as a “deluminator” switching the lights out and reducing enemy’s field of vision.

Abilities:

LMB - Laser Gun / Sanjay uses a Laser gun that fires in pulses that behave like linear projectiles / Laser gun should be connected to some kind of backpack or chestpiece / 100 HP per shot / 1 shot per second / no reload

E - Hardlight Construct / Sanjay can create a hardlight structure (always in rectangular shape). It can be use to create walls, bridges or ramps / max lenght 20 mts. / Structures should be used to allow your teammates new ways to navigate around the map, or temporary close off your enemies / constructs are collision enabled, but are immune to damage. Damage will go through them (they will not act as a barrier or shield) / Constructs last for 8 seconds / 12 second cooldown.

Shift - Health Station / Sanjay deploys a Health Station on the battlefield. Station looks like an airport body scanner it’s diameter is larger than a Healthpack station (should be large enough for the Tanks to get in) / Health station upgrades with time, each 30 seconds / Lvl 1 Health Station heals 100 HP per second / Lvl 2 Health Station heals 200 HP per second / Lvl 3 Health Station heals 400 HP per second / Only one teammate can use the health station at a time / Health Station has 400 HP and can be destroyed. Health stations should be deployed in strategic locations. If popped during a fight, at least will be able to heal for a few seconds until it gets destroyed.

Ultimate - Deluminator / A more advanced use of Vishkar’s technology allows Sanjay to turn out the lights for the enemies all around the map, reducing their field of vision to a 5 meter radius for 6 seconds (general areas of the map appear darker, but enemies, allies or buildable objects cannot be seen).


Hero: Lynx 17

Havent figured out stats, just the basic kit:

LMB - Taser Gun / Basically a pea shooter with an electric theme (would need to be wireless of course)

RMB - Confoundment / Similar to Sombra’s Hack, but still lets the enemy use weapons and abilities. Reticle and cooldowns get removed from user display. Effect lasts for 5 seconds with a 10 second cooldown

E - Disruption Field / An enemy hero is targeted similarly as with Discord Orb. Enemy will be affected with some kind of energy pulse that after a 3 second delay deals 100 damage to allies within 5 meter radius of them (but won’t damage the initial affected enemy) . Enemies caught by the blast will similarly “detonate” after another 3 seconds. This secondary blasts do not apply the effect again. This ability is intended to break up clustered enemy teams and disrupt them without the use of CC.

Shift - Iris Link / You can link 3 allies. Any of these linked teammates will live longer, by distributing 50% of the damage they take across other Iris Linked teammates.

Ultimate - Us and Them / Lynx-17 sprouts 4 clones next to the 4 teammates that are the furthest away from him (if a teammate is dead, they sprout next to the corpse) They are an AI controlled minion that will behave randomly following your teammates and shooting at enemies. These clones don’t do damage. The purpose of this ability is to generate confusion amongst enemies. Of course a smart enemy will be able to spot the which is the real one, but hey, confusion is always welcome

STORY:
Professor Zeki Terzi, also known as “Man of all Science” - one of the brightest minds in the world, who inspired generations of young scientists all around the globe. As a top authority in scientific society, he was the ideologist behind Oasis Project - one of the world’s most advanced cities, a shining jewel rising from the Arabian Desert, a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraints.

From youth Terzi had insatiable hunger for knowledge. Even while living in poverty, his spend all his money on books and internet sources. He was charmed by nature of the world around him and he wanted to learn and understand every little part of it. He wanted to know how everything is connected.
Once, when he was only a student, he said, that humans in future will be able to create meat and bread from energy of the sun or wind and build houses made of light. Other students laughed. Now most of these students work for the Vishkar Corporation and use hard-light technology that was based on ideas and theories of Terzi.

Zeki usually called a modern alchemist for his obsession with an idea of transmutation. Professor Terzi believes that everything can be converted into anything else because all things in the universe came from the same origin. In Zeki’s opinion, there is no difference between energy and matter and all things are the same on more deep, fundamental level. And everything can be used as material for the good of humanity.

The Vishkar corporation was never allowed in Oasis because of their radical methods of doing business, but Zeki gladly worked with the corporation which gave him unlimited resources for his researches. By the end, he made a lot of money for the corporation.
Several year ago, with all power of the Vishkar Corp resource base, he moved forward to achieve his original idea. He invented a device which can create matter out of energy. So-called Vita-matter was a “smart” pseudo-organic substance which can be “programmed” by nano-machines to have different properties. Even Professor Terzi could not understand full potential of his invention, but he decided that the rightest way to use it was the way he thought about at student days: he learned how to program Vita to be nutritious as a food and have healing effect to use it at medicine and biotic technologies. He thought that he found the way to solve the problem of hunger and help people in countries affected by Omnic Crisis.

But not everyone shared Zeki’s ideas. At one day professor discovered, that someone in the Vishkar corporation wanted to sell his invention to some shady organisation to convert it into a weapon.
The next day there was a terrible accident: malfunctioned Vita-generator exploded and vaporized the whole laboratory with all inventions and research data in the Vishkar Labs in Turkey. Fortunately, the accident happened at night, when all lab employees were at their homes. Unfortunately, Professor Zeki Terzi always stayed at lab for the night to work on his promising project.
On that day the world lost one of the brightest minds and maybe the most important invention at once.

Nowadays, mass medias all over the middle-east report about mysterious guru-like old man with backpack-looking device on his back connected with strange glowing gloves on his hands. The old man occasionally appears in areas of danger and helps victims of war, terrorism and humanitarian crisis. Eyewitnesses say that this elder makes medicines and food out of thin air.

The identity of the old man has not yet been established, but no one doubts that this is Professor Terzi. There are rumors that he is looking for an apprentice to continue his projects. Scientists all across the world tries to find Zeki and become his successor, but professor is forced to avoid publicity, because agents of Vishkar are hunting for him and his tech.

PERSONALITY:
“Humanity is too immature and irresponsible for my inventions. So I have to do everything myself”
Zeki is very old man with big and light hearth. He works for the good of humanity, although sometimes he believes that it does not deserve it. He acts like a teacher for all people around, kind enough to encourage their good intentions and ambitions, but wise enough not to turn a blind eye on their dark side.
He is vigorous and physically strong, thanks to science and traditional yoga training, but old age reminds him that no life can last forever and he should think about his legacy.

APPEARANCE:
Dark-skinned old man with very slim body and long limbs. Not very tall because of crooked posture. He facial hair looks like letter “T” because of very long white colored beard and horizontally arranged mustache. He also has fluffy eyebrows. He wears a turban and traditional (but with sci-fi twist) lightweight mantle and scarfs on top of modern urban clothes with armor parts and scientific equipment. He also has backpack-looking device on his back with glowing sphere inside of it. The device is connected with special gloves via glowing tubes wrapped around his arms.

STATS AND ABILITIES:

Health: 200

Weapon: Vita-Gloves
Zeki projects massive globules of Vita-substance from palms of his special gloves and launches them at enemies and allies.

Primary fire: Vita-globule
Launches globule of Vita substance which can attach to any surface, enemy or ally. Can be detonated manually with M2 or detonates automatically after 5 seconds.
Type: Linear projectile
Projectile speed: 28 m/s
Rate of fire: 1 shot per second
Ammo: 12
Reload time: 1.5 seconds

Secondary fire: Detonate Globule
Detonate all existing globules of Vita. They can be detonated in mid-air. Each globule explodes and leaves cloud of Vita-particles. All enemies caught in cloud constantly receive a quick DoT effect. All allies caught in cloud constantly receive a quick HoT effect. If globule was attached directly to enemy or ally the cloud will be attached too. Effect of several clouds do not stack. DoT deals full damage to armor.
Area of Cloud: 2.5 meters radius
Duration of Cloud: 0.5 second
Duration of Damaging effect: 1 second
Damage of effect: 75 per second
Duration of Healing effect: 3,5 seconds
Healing of effect: 50 per second

Visuals:
Globules look like big droplets of glowing lava-looking goo. They may be in different shades of green for you and allies and shades of red/orange for enemies. The clouds look not like gas, but more like colored dust like in Indian Holi Festival Of Colours.
Enemies affected by DoT have their healthbar highlighted for Zeki player with orange color, while Allies affected by HoT have their healthbar highlighted with green color. Both enemies and allies have Vita-particle effects of appropriate color on them while they are affected by DoT or HoT.

Note:
Zeki’s Vita-gloves lacks headshots and burst potential, but they provide good constant, but slightly delayed damage and zone control. Splash damage is fixed on 75 damage per second of DoT and has no range falloff. Direct hits deal ~38 damage with cloud + 75 with DoT, 113 damage during 1.5sec per direct hit which is low for Offence hero, but great for Support, especially because it can hit multiple enemies at once. Projectile speed is not very fast, but globules have pretty big hitbox (like 50% charged Symmetra sphere) and ability to manually detonate them gives player more control over damage.
Globules and Clouds do not pierce barriers, but player can launch globule above enemy shield and detonate it behind.
Direct hits are hard to land due to sloe projectile speed, but with ability to manually detonate globules in mid-air Zeki can put some pressure on flying enemies like Pharah or Mercy.
Healing effect is weaker than damaging effect in terms of raw numbers, but has longer duration which helps Zeki put HoT on several allies and focus on dealing with enemies. Zeki’s is not as powerful solo target healer as Mercy or Ana, but with good aiming and timing skills he can effectively heal the whole team. HoT effect heals for 175HP over 3,5 seconds. Clouds can heal for additional 25HP so direct hits heal for 200HP over 4 seconds (50HPS).

E-bility: Glue-shot
After brief delay Zeki shoots a globule of Vita-glue with such force so first enemy hit is greatly knocked back. If enemy impact a wall he will be glued to it and stunned for several seconds. Glued enemies are immune to damage, but stun effect can be cleared if Glue is destroyed. Glue can be damaged both by enemies and allies and has the 75% of affected target max health up to 250.

Projectile speed: 88.88 meters per second (Like Mei Icicle)
Duration: up to 5 seconds
Damage: 50 if enemy impact a wall
Cast time: 0.5 second
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Visuals:
Vita-glue has beige color. Glued enemies is covered in glue texture and stunned in a pose like they are knocked down by Rein’s ultimate, but vertically near a wall.

Note:
Glue Shot is a powerfull CC tool that can isolate key target from the fight for a pretty long duration.

Shift-ability: Repulsion Puddle
Zeki throws globule of green Vita on the ground and creates a Repulsion Puddle which acts like a trampoline for him and his allies. Players can jump straightly upward (W button is not pushed during jump) or propel themselves upward and forward (W button is pushed during jump). Repulsion Puddle grants brief movement speed buff to jumping heroes.
Area of Puddle: 3 meters radius
Duration of puddle: 4 seconds
Movement speed boost: +30%
Speed boost duration: 3 seconds after jumping
Maximum vertical range: 22 meters
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Visuals:
Repulsion Puddle looks like a green (orange for enemies) and slightly glowing goo puddle on the ground.

Note:
Simple ability but a potential meta-changer. Provides a lot of additional vertical mobility to heroes who lack it. Helps allies to reach high-ground and can potentially turn any comp into Dive-comp. That can help to make team compositions more diverse, but keep fast pace of the game for E-sports. Even Bastion can be a part of Dive-comp now!

Ultimate-ability: Absorbing Bubble
Zeki’s backpack device projects a bubble of Vita around. The bubble moves with Zeki and absorbs all incoming damage. If bubble is destroyed or its duration expired it bursts, dealing 50% of all absorbed damage to all enemies in large area and knocking them back.
Bubble health: 1000
Bubble duration: 4 seconds
Bubble area: 4 meters radius
Damage: up to 500
Area of damaging effect: 15 meters radius
Charge required: 2750 points (slightly more than Lucio)

Visuals:
Absorbing Bubble is green for allies and orange for enemies. It is transparent like other barriers, but has different, more organic texture. The more damage it absorbs the stronger is glow effect which indicates how powerful burst will be.

Note:
Absorbing Bubble acts like other barriers and can be disabled by EMP. It is smaller than Winston’s Bubble and has less duration, but has more health and moves wherever player moves. It can be used both offensively to push enemies back or defensively to prevent enemies from using their high-damage abilities. It can be countered the same way Zarya’s bubbles are countered - by not shooting at bubble.

I like them, but for Mama Hong you forgot the signature ability that was shown with her: Manslaughter.
