Hello Overwatch community. Got a fresh new hero concept for you:
Joe the Accountant
Backstory: Joe was born in Memphis, TN where he was raised in a medium-sized house with a medium-sized family and had a roughly medium-sized dog. He attended school and achieved average grades and then went to a medium-sized community college where he got his associates degree in accounting. He is now married and has a child named Jim and works an average-paying job at an average-sized company. His unique abilities include complaining about his boss, driving 5mph above the speed limit, and drinking out of a mug that says “crabby until I get my coffee”.
Role: Tank
HP: 1
Active ability 1: Check Phone
Joe will take his phone out of his pocket and look at it to check the time. Upon returning his phone back into his pocket, he will realize he wasn’t paying attention to what time it was and may choose to take his phone out a second time.
Active ability 2: Have a Seat
When Joes feet get sufficiently tired, he can pull up a chair and take a rest in the spawn room. During this time, he can either take a nap or check to see if his family texted him. He can also make a passive observation about how long his fingernails have gotten and how he’ll have to clip them when he gets home tonight.
Ultimate ability: Lunch Break
At exactly 11:30am, Joe can take out his lunch box that his wife packed for him and enjoy an average-quality turkey sandwich with mayo and lettuce. There is also a Ziploc bag of mini pretzels in there, but he might just let someone else have those because he is sick of pretzels.
Passive ability: Cellular Respiration
Through the power of his lungs, Joe can take in oxygen to be distributed to his cells via the blood stream. He can also produce carbon dioxide as a waste product of this power. With this incredible ability, Joe has the power to live until the age of 67 at which point he will die in a drunk driving accident.
Let me know what you guys think of this character. He may not seem super exciting, but he is a hero to his son! And, he’s still more fun to play than Mauga.
