New forums experience

Anyone else getting giddy from this new forum “format” so to speak

It took a bit of getting used to, but it’s a welcome change.

I miss pages inside the threads, but I generally like the new forums.

There are certain aspects that I really dislike. I could do without the constant update of new posts. Another poster talked about closure, and this feature really makes it impossible to reach a point of satisfaction.

I like it more because I am informed directly when people like or reply to me rather than having to wait and check.

its ok but it has its flaws.
perks ::
we can see who upvotes us and also see when we have a reply.
the reply window is nicer and smoother looking.
the scrolling is not to bad eather.

Flaws::
theres a hidden rank system in it that pervents you from useing some of the parts of the posting fetures untill you unlock them. like posting URLs and images and videos.
you cant downvote someones post no matter how stupid it is. which allowed people to skip over posts that where eather not good for the communitys toxcity levels ore showed how ignorent some of the community could be. or where just down right not helpfull at all. (( give ups back down vote ! please ))
u can get lost looking for a thread you where just part of in the sea of new posts.

over all views :: its not good but its not bad. its freash i give it that. but at the same time its just a forum. be it good or bad. to me its just mah

There are ups and downs to it. The major things I dislike though are the limits to things like “liking” :frowning:

I’m used to it now. Been here several days.

It took some getting used to, but I’m really enjoying it now😀

I overall like the new layout but the flagging system is really flawed

I really really miss the small few lines of the thread under the titles of each one. Often the title doesn’t give everything, but the first line does.
This saves a ton of time, and you can avoid spam better as well.

Mousing over the title on the main page brings up a little window that does have the text of the post in it, well the first bit of it anyways.

That’s really helpful on mobile.

I didn’t design em, I’m only replying to tell someone that a feature they thought was gone is actually still here.
