Its ptr. who cares how it looks. it could turn out to be broken or unusable and all the sound work and artwork would be for nothing. We just want to know how it will work. Its almost like what you put on ptr is guaranteed to go live. Wait…

Hey Jeff if you could doomfist has this small problem when he is charging his rocket punch that the crosshair changes back to white. I currently use all green crosshairs so it a bit disorienting when it changes visually
One of my favorite things about Hanzo is bouncing arrows off walls from high ground to hit targets that like to place themselves next to walls or just around corners to quick peek.
Would it be possible to make his fast arrows bouncable? Now hear me out.
The negative sentiment I’ve always recieved revolves around the instant kill potential of scatter since its so many arrows at once. People feel like they never had time to react to a well placed scatter on the ground. However, single target arrows obviously changes things, but they remove one of my favorite parts about the hero. Hanzo is one of those heros where you can actually out think your opponent by how you use your scatter.
Are they being defensive and hiding behind a shield? Use scatter on the wall behind to help build your ult.
Are they peeking a corner without cover? Use scatter just on the side of the door way.
These are just two that I think of since I use them a lot.
This has been the largest internal issue I’ve been thinking about. I am going to miss wall and sometimes ceiling shots quite a lot.
I hope they hurry a bit… I hate being killed as a tank by one freaking arrow…
So does this mean that Hanzo’s volley and lunge are definitely coming to ptr?? :DDD
People around here are discussing his new abilities but I haven’t seen any dev post announcing any new abilities or reworks so I’m out of the loop

The old posts were on the old forums, essentially, hanzo gets a horizontal leap, and a volley ability which reduces his dmg to 80 for 6 seconds, but lets you fire up to 6 shots extremely quick at 3 per second.

So, My main conflict with this ability is Hanzo, instead of firing an arrow that splits into multiple, will basically have to fire all of the individual arrows that would have scattered. I understand that scatter arrow was getting annoying, but this just doesn’t seem like the answer. Hopefully the ptr will change my mind, but it basically sounds like a dumbed down nerfed version of the same thing. Instead of having a cool piece of tech that is the scatter arrow, just shoot faster, dealing less damage…
Are we sure they went for it? Jeff said they saw the potential in these abilities, but is there an official confirmation that this is what’s going to the ptr?
