New Flashbang needs something

New Flashbang seems pretty meh right now. It needs some buffs
The slow(50%), the damage(45!), the cooldown(12)…
Some of these could have a change

Either keep damage as it is but reduce cooldown to 10 sec, or increse damage to 70 at least and keep the cooldown.
Another alternative would be to have 12 sec cooldown, 50 damage and 60% slow
Some small buff is required
In fandom com wiki it says it has 7 meters max range. It SURE feels less than that. But i guess this will get fixed by muscle memory

We need flashbang with CC, or bring back mag nade. This crap is useless

Maybe make it, like, stun for a little while

Or I have an even crazier idea… What if flashbang was a flashbang. Imagine that! It could, like, flash them…

I mean, I feel like we should maybe wait it out a bit, to see how people use it, once they are used to it.
Cass was one of the strongest DPS for a while now, so even if it makes him weaker, it might not be all that bad.
Can always be changed up in the midseason patch.

as long as they get stunned and blink and wipe their eyes without moving ya

Every change to nade has sucked and more and more I wish for old flashbang to come back.

They all feel bad to play against but the original flash is so quick. The new iterations just…idk are annoying for a longer amount of time? Or feel like it.

I guess it’s visually weird that you flashbang someone and they don’t stop in place for those milliseconds it used to do. Maybe a 0.5s root was all it visually needed. But I agree on the wait and see.

The major problem was always the flashbang + fan the hammer combo that used to be easy CC + burst damage (specially against tanks).

7 meters is the range a mercy can move away from the soul from while rezzing.

People keep claiming it’s a ridiculously far distance, but i guess it isn’t after all.

It feels bad when you get hit with it because of the slow… but it feels worse as the cass because they it doesn’t feel like they are being slowed enough and the range sucks. Bravo Blizzard you managed to make it feel bad for both user and victim, now that is talent lol.

Now I see tracers in all my games and that is going to be a boatload of fun.

it needs to stun not even trolling, felt way better. and it brought some consideration to the gameplay

Flashbangs are unpopular because it excludes people with light sensitivity. Then again, seeing what a frantic flashing blinking exhibition every Overwatch match is, having flashbang “flash” the screen is really the least of the problems.

It could make screen so blurry you couldn’t see much without making it all white.

relfecting on it has me thinking. why do the cowboy need a flashbang, why not give him a lasso, no stun but immobility or like a hog hook maybe

FB travels 7m but has a 3m radius. You can tag someone 10m away.

fb-range

If you want to test it yourself, try this Workshop code: XKV2A. Press f to spawn a bot.

As far as buffing FB goes, hell no. If a snaring, movement-disabling bomb on a character that can hitscan dink for 140 is not enough deterrent against the likes of Tracer, then it’s time to look at Tracer.

No.

Absolutely not. Let Mccree just finally fall from high tier.

Like it never fails. People say he sucks, he gets literally no changes and out of nowhere he suddenly becomes high tier again.

He was considered garbage before the headshot reduction to tanks and boom when they added headshot and armor buffs Mccree is suddenly busted again.

So what is it? Does he suck or is headshot spam really that easy?

Release Number 40501350 of this very original thought.

Has anyone ever asked themselves what would a “lasso” do that any version of Cass’s grenade hasn’t done, while being a lot easier to animate.

fit a cowboy better as stated in the comment i made

He’s not just a cowboy, he’s a ex-convict, former gang member and paramilitary/G.I. Joe.
