Recently, D.Va has been getting more and more voicelines related to Meka Base, Dae-hyun, and Busan. The recent interactions between heros that are brand new might mean D.Va is going to be apart of the story. Not just a hero mission, but an actual connection to the main story.
What do you think of the new voicelines to D.Va?

D.Va also has new interaction with Torb too, and when you get a kill on busan she can say “I will protect my home!”

If anything it’d be cool to have a mission in Overwatch 2 where you had to defend meka base and you heard the respective meka pilots converse with your team and you could aid them in battle.
Like a mix between BOB and the Push robot.
I mean, I feel like it would be pretty damn weird if she weren’t at least given the same treatment as Lucio and becomes a core part of new Overwatch.
WTB more mecha members still though, especially D.Mon since she seems the closest with the nice bonus of being a main tank. Junkrat and Hog may be similarly cut off from the main story, but feel much better because at least they have each other.
with the fact dae-hyun has been mentioned so many times recently (even in conversations with other characters) surely confirms blizzard has plans for him and i’m confident he will appear in overwatch 2, whether he will be playable i’m not sure but as a mechanic he would make a good support i think
