First time using the forum here. Any else find the new Min 1 Max 3 queue times to be a lot longer than expected?

The reason is that the mode is just garbage.
Im sorry to burst that bubble but this mode is the worst version of ow ever made. After one match of supergoats people wont queue again.
Sorry if you had high hopes for the mode its unfortunately not balanced at all.

Every single mode is currently experiencing issue with queue times and some maps are laggy. My normal comp queue times have more than tripled since the patch…

I 've heard there was a problem with overwatch servers? Or has it been resolved

I don’t know. It still takes a longer than normal period of time on the “entering game” screen. queue times a re longer and 1 or 2 maps for me lag to some degree.
That being said I play on almost 200ms latency all the time anyway.
I dunno. It’s only been three days since the test released. Isn’t that impulsive to already claim it’s the worst?
Listen ive lived Goats and double shields. This is worse. Balance wise there are simply even more sustain options creating even more stacking issues then ever before. Role queue was keeping the game “balanced” this is out of control

Because its a pretty bad mode.
I played 15 games yesterday and at least 2/3 of my matches ended up with triple tank comps.

Damn 15 games? Where are you playing to be able to get 15 games? Also 15 games is a lot for a mode you don’t like.
My expectation:
66OQ > 222 = min1 > 122
It is met, for me personally
Because its not good so no one is playing it.

I dont get your comment. If I played too little then I wouldnt have enough of a sample to know if I like the mode. As I said, I played 15 games, this is so that I could properly get a feel of the mode and can confirm its awful imo.
Touché. I was under the assumption you already concluded you didn’t like the game mode when you played your fifteen games. My bad.
Tbf I never liked OQ modes but never tried min 1 max 3. It pretty much plays out the same way I expected it to.

Kind of figured open queue min 1 would become a Goats simulator. It’s still the best comp even if you mix a dps in.

Same. My m1m3 games were popping fast, consistent with Open Queue times, on East NA. There definitely were problems with getting games on patch day, however. I queued all roles for 5v5 and found myself waiting for like 4 minutes before canceling and queueing up m1m3.

Nah 5v5 is still worse, but this mode is no much better

Damn I play on Singapore and it’s reversed here. The Min Max usual takes like 5+ minutes here.
5v5 is at least… something. Yeah no they both suck. 2-2-2 was so good now that its gone again nothing else compares
