Like what’s up with that? Why does Torbjorn seem so annoyed with her and in general?
The lines aren’t always the same when you play Uprising, so you don’t always hear this bickering. I just noticed it earlier today. I don’t remember hearing this in the previous years either.

Reinhardt sounded kinda put off with her too, maybe she’s getting the newbie treatment from them?
I heard one today, I don’t know it word for word but it was along the lines of
Torb: “quit talking newbie”
Tracer: “I didn’t say anything!”
Torb: “and you better keep it that way!”
I wanted to point out Overwatch interactions Youtube channel, but they don’t have Uprising ones! But they are indeed, bickering a lot and it’s pretty fun! Torb is way too fun in this mission!
It doesn’t sound like they’re bickering for fun. It really sounds like they’re arguing with a lot of anger.
The specific set of lines I’m thinking of don’t always show up. I’m search for a video of the bickering, but haven’t found any yet.
Torbjorn and Angela, are long time friends, so hearing them bickering “Just a little snag” “Define little snag” every time makes me smile when I hear it!
That’s definitely the more light-hearted bickering, and that’s one of the lines that shows up like 90% of the time. There was this one time I played though and their bickering sounded a lot more serious, like they weren’t on good terms. It was mainly between Tracer and Torb.
I played Uprising about 8 times today and only heard the serious bickering once.
Have you tried the gamepedia site for uprising interactions? They’re usually pretty good at including interactions and voice lines.

There is something we dont know about Tracer, how some of developers said, “there is not only good or bad heroes”, so, maybe we dont know something about her vision of the world, also she is very annoying, always giggles, impulsive and jokes when when not necessary, so i understand Torbjorn
Reinhardt was also getting annoyed with how much Tracer talks saying something like “Cut the chatter, Tracer.”
The mission was probably stressful as hell. They are in an unauthorised operation where thousands of civilians lives are in danger, and they are the only ones that can stop the Null Sector. Rein and Torb are used to this kind of mission (during the Omnic Crisis that was probably the kind of dangerous mission they did with Reyes, Morrison and Amari), Mercy and Tracer (especially Tracer) are not.
No wonder they are pretty tensed ^^
I think this is just how torb’s personality is.
I mean I get way Torb is annoyed by her if somebody stole my catchphrase and started patterning it as their own I’d be pretty salty too.
In uprising, Tracer was 20 years old and a fresh face in an old squad. She’s younger than most of torbs kids, with the exception of his youngest, brigitte. Torb by contrast was in his early 50s and working with Rein, also in his 50s.
I think its a combination of mercy being a good example of bickering with both Rein and Torb and the fact she’s just turned 20 and is their hotshot rookie with one of their close friend’s/commander’s attention and personal approval. He definitely likes her, but as Mercy and reinhardt point out his personality is a bit “grumpy.”
First Tracer is new and it’s her first mission, surely she gets bullied by elders. Though Mercy has her back.
Second it was Torb’s idea to drop a bomb there so they can take out Null Sector and it’s mostly on that part when u see him frustrated and just having arguments with everybody. Because if the plan doesn’t work it’s Torb’s fault and they’ll all blame him (if they survive). He even once says “maybe i should blow ourselves up right now”.
Torb throughout Uprising was mad, not just at Tracer, but in general. Even in the comic, he was put off and didn’t seem to really talk to anybody.
I think it had to do with him building the bastion units and now he feels it’s his fault since they are attacking everyone. That is the only reason I can think of why he’d be so mad during the whole thing.
wtf he says that? What is his problem? The dude had real mental issues if this is how he thinks…I feel bad if he passed it to his kids.
