Never playing Tank again with this matchmaking

Most bullied role in the entire game and you can’t do absolutely nothing.

I am never playing Tank again untill the matchmaking issue is resolved. Or simply bring back 6v6.

It never fails. Your destroying them as tank carrying the worst DPS in the game. Whole team counters you in the second round and GG it’s another loss.

Have you tried playing more than one tank?

Usually they go full Bastion Zen and your dead due to your DPS never securing a kill.

Do you go sigma/ dva ?

I’ve tried them all. I can rock him over and over as sigma. Still doesn’t stop them from melting my shield. Of course they are the bastion who knows not to shoot me when I’m absorbing.

Exactly, meanwhile half the time you are going like 30-2 with one of your support pocketing their DPS friend and the other playing DPS moira so you are carrying without even being healed. Then when the whole team counters and focuses you, you still get no heals and there’s nothing you can do except win a team fight every 2 minutes with your ult and some idiot who goes 4-12 with 3k dmg says tank diff.

My experience with tank in S3 has been pretty good. Ill get out of wood 5 soon!

What rank are you playing in? Not visual rank, where did you end last season I mean? What MMR or what MMR would you estimate to be playing in lol. Since you know, kind of a guess till S4 lol

My advice play ball but not badly! Ive played a LOT of bad ball players and they just, yeah they just dont do it right.

Be sneaky, attack from behind don’t die, kill supports, use health packs, kill more supports don’t die/feed. Its just a fantastic time!

Widows? NP dead! Cassidy nade me all you want youre still gonna die! Mei, hah, your walls are no match for the Ham! lol I love ball

yea i have to play 8. im better than the enemy on every single one so it becomes mystery heros for them doing everything in their power non skill based not to lose because they are bad

Well. I used to do that.

Now I mostly just play Doomfist. After watching replays of games where I switched and personally performed better… my team still lost anyway. Because they were the weaker team.

Basically in the first minute you can generally know if your team is stronger than the other one or not. Just try not to get triggered by it.

Your job as tank is to defend as well as carry damage, there’s a reason tanks are so OP.

Since I have been browsing this forum I have read several times

  • the tanks are overpowered
  • the supports are overpowered
  • the damage dealers are overpowered

You know the universal rule : when everyone is overpowered, no one is.

You know that’s nonsense. Just because you read some random comment claiming that DPS or supports are overpowered doesn’t change the fact that this game HEAVILY revolves around tanks, all the top players know this, and it is almost impossible to overcome tank diff. This is because tanks are just DPS heroes with 5x better defense and better ultimates. They are intentionally overpowered by design.

On average the biggest deciding factor in any match is the tank, followed by supports and then DPS. The simple reason is that all heroes can DPS in this game, but not all heroes can heal, and nobody can tank except tanks.

I only say what I have read, I have no idea about this.

And I was trolling a little, sorry for that.

Yeah thats where I see the majority of issues. DPS gaps

Tanks in this forum just huff Copium non-stop and then blame the DPS in their games.

Because in Overwatch it’s always the dps fault, and only them.

Now the game is so death match so I decided I’ll try DPS and half of the time it is more fun thought I always was more like support or tank player

There’s definitely something about the DPS role that makes you tilt less when the game is unwinabble, or not worth being all sweaty just to potentially get a draw. Maybe it’s because when you play DPS, you’re not obligated to fulfil a requirement that feels like a baby sitting job sometimes, especially when your team is losing (e.g. making space as tank or healing as support).

But when it comes to DPS, since your main job is to eliminate players, it feels less like a “job” so to speak, as you’re less reliant on your teammates performance and aren’t putting resources into them in order for your team to win (with some exception of “support-like” DPS heroes like sombra/symmetra/torb etc).
