Stats are specific to China only, obviously.
If NetEase can do it, why can’t you Blizzard?
Also, Genji has a higher winrate in GM than Sojourn

Huh… Is that for all servers, or just Chinese/Asian ones?
The Asia region is part of Blizzard’s Battle.net. NetEase is mainland China only.
Can’t vs won’t. They track all these stats internally, they just make the choice not to share them with the playerbase.
Imo it’s inevitable. That’s a Kaplan-era decision and (much like many other Kaplan decisions) it’s a bad one.
You may be right, maybe it’s on the to-do list and just not a priority right now, but if they really wanted it out it wouldn’t take that much to make it happen. I’m sure someone’s brought it up at least once in a meeting since that time, if for no other reason than as a feature some of the players are asking for. As of this moment, they haven’t chosen to share the data. Not everything is as simple as old team bad.
If blizz offered transparency with stats data, we’d know (for absolute certain) that some of their reasoning behind balance decisions is complete bs.
China has some laws that might require statistics being available. But I don’t live there. It might be a legal thing to have it available.
File this post of mine under ‘s’ for “simple minds, simple pleasures”.
I used the function to translate the Chinese into simplified English and enjoyed the results.
I want to change my B-tag to “Destroy Ball” now.
I wanted to include JQ’s translated name but it turns out that the translator’s guess at “junker” breaks this forum’s terms of conduct.
… wh… what does it rhyme with?
Bing translated it as “The Queen of the Scumbags”
Junkertown’s pubs are a good time due to having so many bar stewards.
NGL that honestly feels like an actual in-universe title she would have
Maybe it could be a player title in a Junker-themed battlepass…
Yea i used the translator thing on my mobile phone…
BUT
I guess some of it is “Lost in Translation”
I told you the April Fools change for Doom was just Iron Fist. Even China agrees with me.
Thanks for sharing.
I wonder what the source is. If this is actually official Blizzard data, then it’s pretty big, even if it’s only from Chinese servers.
The data looks mostly as expected, with only a few surprises—like Mercy being the third most-picked hero with a 59% win rate in GM. But that’s probably because there aren’t that many GM players… unless I’m sleeping on Mercy being OP
I’m surprised by the data actually. How are people playing Genji and getting over 50% winrate in Gold? For me, Genji’s learning curve is so high that I don’t feel confident playing him in Gold. I tend to have better luck winning games on Soldier, Ashe, Reaper, Tracer, Bastion, Torb, Mei and Junkrat instead. Maybe I just suck at Genji
