Rein and Zarya currently take up 62% of all tank picks across all levels according to overbuff.
The next most picked tank is roadhog at 8.1%. This is ridiculously imbalanced. I like to play tank but am tired of zarya/rein. Rein on his own is not oppressive. But Rein with Zarya is.
Zarya so op cause she’s literally sym with more health and better correct me if im wrong whoops left out a important part also nearly infinite range
If you play smartly, not just blindly playing the game and actually have a plan. Play around the zaryas cooldowns. Know how many seconds she has in between barriers. You will know when to push her, and when to stop attacking because she will probably bubble exactly when she can again.
Zarya is picked because of Rein, true. She’s also picked because of Mei’s freeze, fan the hammer, doomfist (ally and enemy), etc etc.
If not having a bubble didn’t mean not exposing the tanks to taking so much punishment, people would also play other tanks.
Zarya is fine doesn’t remotely need a nerf.
Ah yes a tank that does over 400 damage with the range of a moira and a op ult and shields nothing wrong here
Rein and Zarya both should have been nerfed by now. I have absolutely no clue how this dev team can be so slow on these obvious fixes.

If they want the meta to change more like they say making zarya either have less range or maybe not kill a dps or a healer in less than 10 seconds she’s gonna need a nerf atleast make the charge decrease faster or something if she’s this op by herself her with rein is game breaking

Her overall success factor (for the most part) is dependent on how many potatoes the other team has.

Based on your icon I guess you think a hero with 600hp, can fly in any direction (literally most mobile hero in the game), can eat most of the ults in the game on a sub 2 second cooldown, has an ult that does 1,000 damage, and basically has two lives is totally balanced right?
To me its weird that a game that’s been out for several years still has a player base that doesn’t know how to handle Zayra. She’s not oppressive. All you have to do is play around her instead of playing into her.
Or they could just get rid of 222 and it wouldn’t matter as much, because you’d have a lot more options to counter.
They’ve boxed themselves in to a corner with 222, i believe. The game is far to strict now. Players could just counter Rein/Zarya with something more creative, if we were allowed to…
Not really i mean sure i like to play her as tank but i dont really like tank im more of a mccree main used to play zara but all dps players are like i gotta play genji hanzo now cause theres a zarya on my team
