Nerf to all mobility heroes

healing is often off set by lack of dps. and mobility. mobility during non-fighting times can’t be negated at any level. if your team have 6 fast heroes, you will move faster as a whole.

Roadhog and Soldier certainly do not lack in dps and Soldier can even sprint for more movement speed so basically none of your arguments are making sense anymore. Your definitions no longer work.

most of the times they die in short period of time to each other. if one dies and the fight continues, the faster hero still benefits. not to mention if the slow hero is half way and they team wipe he is stuck. fast heroes always can get away.

So the enemy team just feeds ult charge?

“Shotgun” heroes (high damage, high spread) like Dva, Tracer and Reaper tear large high HP targets apart, especially since Roadhog doesn’t have any armour.

Which is why it’s smarter to switch to a mobility hero if you need to get back to battle…

soldier is actually pretty lacking in burst once his helix rocket is used. he is only good and often compete w/ mccree because he has utility and can contest some high grounds alone which mccree can never get to. and his ult is infinitely better. if you remove his mobility. soldier would be like before his buff non-existent in the high tier.

Who said anything about burst damage? You said they lack dps, not burst damage.

And btw you’re the one who wants to remove his mobility until he’s shot someone or has been shot so you’re the one trying to make him non existent in high tier :stuck_out_tongue:

soldier can’t burst anybody down back then, which was why he was always lackluster, he was never lacking in dps. in a fps dps isn’t useful if you can’t confirm kills. i want to nerf his hp or his ability to get back to battle after a teamwipe. he still can flank and do his thing, but at a slight disadvantage of having less hp. i am by no means trying to remove his sprint. just want to level the playing field.

When will people understand that each hero is different from every other? God, I’m tired of explaining this. People want all heroes to have the same advantages and disadvantages and that’s not how the game works at all…

Just because McCree, Zen, Ana, etc have no mobility abilities, does that mean they get picked less? No, it doesn’t. They have their advantages, not everything relies on mobility. Getting faster to the point doesn’t mean you win the point. No one plays a hero just because they can come back faster to the point, that’s not how it works…

You can level it by buffing the counters to mobility instead. Maybe they’ll get a few extra fights but if you have better heroes at killing them then it doesn’t matter.

fair point, however can you explain why lucio was a must pick for almost 7 seasons at high level? even after his range nerf which nerfed his area of effect by 10 fold?

why the current meta all of sudden composed by majority of high mobility heroes after lucio was ousted by mercy? the only time this was not true was during the triple tank meta, when ana and another healer can keep 3 tanks alive forever and lucio is still a must pick at higher levels. the new trend of moria and dva topping the pick rate while winston is not far behind is very reflective of this. Lucio lost a lot of value when sombra became available, which completely nullified lucio’s ult.

which was why i wan’t to nerf their hp pool by about 5-10% and will give non mobile hero a slight advantage.

OP, I dont know if you realize this, but if a TEAMfight finishes and another one is going to start, that requires the whole team - not just one DPS hero.

If Orisa is part of the team, you need her for the next TEAMfight because that’s how they work. It doesn’t matter if a Genji has been sitting near point for an hour beforehand.

How about no. people already have a fighting chance now that Sombra is around and Soldier isn’t what I’d call too mobile. Only you’re doing that.

yea two dive teams going against each other, because they can get an extra fight if they lose. Right now the advantage of the mobility heroes are over glaring at higher levels that they are taking away the diversity of the team composition. if you are not mobile, unless you have ults like zen which can prevent team wipes, you won’t be even looked at most of the time

Let’s see. Winston, Tracer, Junkrat, Rein, Lucio, Genji, Soldier, D.Va, Doomfist, Pharah, McCree, Sombra, Widow, Reaper, Mercy, and Moira. Over half of the roster has extra mobility abilities.

Ya can’t tell me that you’re not going to have a few of those on each team.

And you want a nerf to all these? Except Tracer considering she’s got the most mobility out of all of them?
