She’s in 75% of my games, heals way too much, gives a ton of overhealth, can cleanse, has a clone distracting you and is very, very hard to kill.
They should start by changing the bonus stat on Doughnut Delivery from CDR so that it isn’t such a strong ability for both TP spam and Suzu spam. With Doughnut Delivery, Martian Mender, and Iridescent Iris she can get 30% cooldown reduction bringing her TP down to about 5 seconds and a Suzu charge every approximately 10 seconds.
Yep, donut delivery and I also suspect Talisman of Life to be a big culprit for her success too, AP on it should be 10 and it give 80 or even 70 overhealth.
I agree with this 100%. If donut delivery and the clone required skillful usage, that’d be different. All they have to do though is just hit a button and giga heal everything while making a copy of themselves that also heals the original kiri. Add to that the insanely quick cooldown and it’s dumb.
I was playing Juno and I thought I was doing well, hitting most of my shots/abilities and had built her up decently. I had 5k healing toward the middle of the round, and the enemy kiri had 9.5k healing with just teleporting in. It absolutely needs to be changed because more people are using the build, and she’s in most games. It’s becoming, “play kiri or you’re throwing.” and I hate that.
Stadium is supposed to be about building a character to deal with a situation, but kiri nullifies most playstyles for very little skill input when she is supposed to be a high skill floor/ high skill ceiling hero. She’s not supposed to this easy, and yet the Donut delivery, clone, two-zu combo makes it simply not fun to play against.
So she shouldn’t use her abilities properly because you lose? They’re her abilities, after all. She only gets a clone and can improve her abilities like any other heroes. And no, you certainly don’t need Kiriko to win if everyone can use the heroes they choose.
No one is saying that. The problem is the input-output.
Kiriko presses two buttons and gives her teammates immortality, cleanse, burst healing, overhealth, movement speed, attack speed, and builds her ult by a flat 5% for each ally she cleanses a debuff from AND she can have two of them. If it was possible to counter Kiriko’s suzu healing with Cybervenom or other healing debuffs, it wouldn’t be as much of an issue but Kiriko disables all of her potential counters and Suzu builds don’t just stop debuffs, they actively punish the enemy from even trying to use them at all.
All heroes only press a few buttons, I mainly play Lúcio with him you hardly have to do anything and he heals without problems, does damage and depending on his skill he can give a shield without an ult. These are Kiriko’s abilities, nothing new and we just need to improve them, it’s that simple.
Yeah the donut delivery is busted as hell and makes her a must pick, especially when you get into the later rounds and she can get things like the overhealth suzu or even the overhealth on tp for herself.
Insane AoE healing for using tp, 2 suzus that give overhealth, clone healing, extremely fast cooldown regen and also the instant ults she gets because of the interaction between the Cleansing charge power and the nebula conduit item; It’s just too much sustain
There is a difference between one ability being improved to do one or two other things and an ability that already does several things having even MORE things tacked onto it and then getting two of them. Comparing Lucio to Kiri is apples and oranges because Lucio can only heal, speed boost, deal damage, or give overhealth, even with powers. The only even slightly transformative perk he has gives him a short nano-boost for an environmental kill and is very niche.
Meanwhile, Kiriko’s suzu already cleanses, gives immortality, and healing without any changes from the base game. With powers and perks, suzu can also: build 5% of her ult PER ally cleansed, grant 100AP scaling overhealth for 5 seconds, grant 25% attack speed and 25% movement speed for 4 seconds. This single ability does not just one, two, three, four, five, or six, but SEVEN different things stacked on one ability she can have TWO of.
If it had less uptime or less things tacked onto it, the build would be less of an issue, but the suzu, teleport, and clone make Kiriko extremely bloated when other support heroes can only do one or two things with abilities. Kiriko has two immortalities she can use on herself and allies and she can teleport through walls with a clone that appears and heals her.
Sorry, but I can’t take all of this seriously. Not mentioning the abilities of all the other strong heroes and making a good healer worse, no, I can’t take that seriously.
Edit: We had a Brigitte in the group who healed for over 24K dealt more damage than the damage dealer and protected (the player couldn’t believe it himself). I assume that would be a problem and she would need to be nerfed…
Ashe alone with her fire damage is unhealable without Kiri’s abilities, even the enhanced form and the clone, it’s impossible, but Ashe, for example, is certainly no problem… right? Or Winston or whatever…
Clones are just a failure for this hero IMO. Double suzu also means that the ‘soft’ anti which was opened up to everyone as an item is just DOA to use to try to counter an ‘unkillable’ tank build. It feels awful.
The Kiri clone builds are braindead huge HUGE free value AND denial. They feel terrible. It’s low risk, high reward. It’s against the ethos the team set out for Stadium -common builds or items being adjusted down (I see this build basically every game, and Twuzu has been in every Kiri build since launch), lower skill builds being weaker than higher ones -this is a very braindead build, even as far as Kiri’s options are concerned-, and having a hero or team comp feel like a loss in hero-select…Kiri comps boil down to feeling absolutely winnable against.
Nerf it down if they insist on keeping the clones, but I think 2zu is really unhealthy and I think that the clones are a terrible idea to try to branch builds off of. It’s not even like they’re a core part of her ‘gameplay fantasy’, as they’re new and just in Stadium. It’d be okay to say ‘yeah, it’s not quite working’ and give up on them, but instead we’re given the passive ‘we’re reworking clones’ to tide us over while Kiri runs rampant in Stadium.
Yeah…people took quite awhile to catch on, but AP build was already strong before the Doughnut Delivery buff. While giving it a little boost might not have been amiss, 10% CDR was waaay overkill.
Lmao, just nerf Kiri XD
