Whenever he is even playable the game is so unenjoyable
No one trusts you in comp so no one will play aggro when you have DM or bubbles etc so hog just gets to play for free the whole game.
Used to play Ana before Kiriko was added and hog would be gone now you play Kiriko and hogs doing fine this is the most unenjoyable character to play against on every role Support, Dps, Tank.
The hook kill is game changing if you get 1 kill at start you get landslided.
Already better than most means his insufferable for 99% of playerbase
Roadhog is easy to outplay and counter with almost any character that has any kind of escape/mobility and/or CC

I think in mid ranks you can still be effective as Ana against him. You can bait the suzu with dart and then anti-heal and burst him. Problems: your team can ignore dart and wake him (very likely) or Hog can just disengage after anti-heal. So this only works against those who’re blatantly going for it, overextend and rely on their supports.
I foresee some nerfs coming to Hog to be honest. He suddenly moved to A+ of even S tier and while it’s not such a disaster for other tanks, his one-shot potential will leave a lot of (somewhat justified) outcry and soon.
Im playing in low masters his actually insufferable.
Mainly for me playing tank because my team isn’t really doing anything against him and they dont trust me to bail them out with bubbles and dm.

Except junkrat doesn’t have tons of hp a one shot up to 20m on cooldown 600hp a heal and suzu to bail him out with high close range damage.
If I was in a slightly higher skill tier like GM or I was in a region like NA with comms so I could tell players I have bubbles for them and to go crazy on roadhog I bet it would be alot better.
But I’m playing in Low masters on the EU region with 0 comms.
That’s not surprising. Though there you can hope that the aforementioned combo dart+nade will work. Not a complete counter as both have long CD - but at least something.
On the other hand you just said it - your team doesn’t cover for you. It’s ideal for Hog as he wants those duels, he wants that chaos and lack of teamplay.
One more issue - Hog didn’t become strong thanks to any buffs. It’s just the ideal situation with other tanks. Nerf to D.Va and especially Zarya led to this situation. So nerfing him can easily kill the character once another meta emerges.
You mean B+ or A-. Orisa and Dva negate hog’s entire existence with their abilities alone. Ana is still a solid counter, Suzu is easy to bait.

He’s decent when your team can’t deal with him and don’t coordinate well.
I can play Orisa into him and thats it really I can’t use D.va because none of my teamates trust me to use my matrix and if I go to dive someone he hooks me.
In terms of GM and TOP 500 his not that good because everyone has good game sense everyone is coordinating, Diamond and Masters he’s still super frustrating because of Suzu.
Picking 1 player in 5v5 with a low risk hook just leads to a steam roll.
