How is it that this game has been out for 8 years and we still have to put up with this balance chicanery? Am I bad? Is DVA somehow actually not good and I’m just too much of a peasant to understand? Because even if that was the case, she still isnt fun to fight. I’m remembering when orisa was strong and they did this crazy thing where they balanced her out by nerfing her instead of forcing players to get used to it. Really crazy thing you can do in a game.
really great that her biggest counter can’t actually compete with her mobility and that its extremely map dependent on if zar can destroy her or not.
no other tank is as strong as dva. no other tank has a chance to stay alive after losing their health pool like dva. seriously, I want to hear why DVA is balanced from you. elaborate.

Yes, every tank got giga buffed because solo tanking sucks and no one wants to do it, but let’s leave them all as is, except for Dva, because we’ve been complaining about her since 2016 so why not? DM was already reverted, 5 extra damage on missiles isn’t breaking the game. Try strafing left or right just a little instead of tanking them with your face.
I’ve been hating this character since season9 of OW1. When she is playable, nobody else can play, 3-4s boosters is not a cooldown, you can’t take any positions without giving up all the advantage playing vs dva. She’s just everywhere with dps role damage potential.
just wanted to come back to this thread to let you guys know i decided to cheese my way to diamond 5 after being hardstuck high plat by playing dva. she is very balanced!
