Nerf Dmon mobility

It’s getting ridiculous she just walks through teams, everyone runs for their lives but you can’t even outrun her. In 6v6 she’s a nightmare and I ban her every single game

I play rein against her and it’s laughable how broken the new heroes are. Making the old ones look outdated and weak. Sad day

Long have I played DVa and had to endure a massive winrate disparity with the likes of Rein.

Like literally a 9-10% winrate disparity.

Now, I enjoy playing a tank that has a higher winrate than Rein. And the disparity isn’t even as big as 9-10% between DMon and Rein.

I think you’ll live.

I don’t despise her as much as Hog, but she does have an answer for every situation. She simply cannot be contested by anything other than a tank when in a 1v1 situation within her ‘radius’.

Boosters to close gaps or increase distance (which isn’t on a cooldown), a shield that has a perk to feed booster energy (lol), and a long range gun on a 4 second cooldown so she can always be dishing out damage no matter where she or the opponent is. This makes high ground less useful against her since most objectives tend to be at ‘ground’ level.

If we compare Rammattra to her:

  1. Ram’s shield is stationary and on a cooldown. Her’s is on her person at all times, no cooldown.
  2. Ram’s block makes him almost stationary. Her ‘block’ lets her roam around as usual, especially with the shield booster perk.
  3. Ram’s primary is a slow moving projectile that needs to be led and can’t be switched on and off without risking a long cooldown on nemesis. Her’s is hitscan and can instantly switch to melee by paying only a 4 second cost until the gun is available again.
  4. Ram’s nemesis barely speeds up his movement. If I’m not mistaken, she can be boosting around while flailing her weapon.

Oh, did we forget about the lifesteal?

She has absolutely no weaknesses apart from being focused down by a team and that goes for any tank, not just her. That it’s required for things like her and Hog makes playing against them in 6v6 such a chore. There’s a kernel of good design in there and that’s what my impression was initially, but if there’s a prime example of a stat check character in the game right now, it’s her.

Now that the debut season is about to end and the esports tournament is over (was mission accomplished by having Korea win?), maybe we’ll see her toned down. Maybe not, given the cosmetics situation.
