he is too oppressive to play against especially with mercy pocket and no that doesn’t mean nerf mercy dmg boost it means take cass down to 250 like everyone else he doesn’t need it especially with dmg resistance on his roll and ult and lets not even get me started on his nade once thrown you’re entire character is unplayable and you’re basically a sitting duck its so unfun and he really just needs to be removed from the game if he cant be balanced any better than his current state
I feel like Cassidy is pretty fine right now? Or maybe Ashe and widow are so much better in the hitscan role than him that he seems fine by comparison it’s hard to tell

and he’s extremely diveable. one of the easiest heroes to dive. he has 1 tool to fight divers and if he wastes it hes done. if there is more than 1 diver, hes done

Bigger hit box than almost all other DPS/ supports and only like 20 or 25 meters of range with a 6 shooter (that requires 4 body shots, meaning roughly 67% accuracy to kill the average character), all the while with abilities that are basically MEANT for CQC.
The damage resist on his roll lasts such a short time that it will barely make a difference if at all. He MIGHT survive something like Riptire, but that’s only at full health and if he can time that roll perfectly in an online game that, thanks to latency or whatever, is likely he will roll, but the game will prioritize the Riptire blowing up 0.2 seconds sooner than he saw himself roll.
His nade is hit or miss. They’ve changed that like 7 times since OW2 launch.
As for his ult? He’s a sitting duck with a spotlight behind him that can 2 tap you faster than it can charge a OHK. That’s backwards, idc what anyone says. Hell, it’s not uncommon for players to use his ult simply for the reload or the damage resistance rather than kills during a fight. Think on that for a moment.
If anything, I’d say he’s still long overdue for buffs to his ult at least.

He has the second-worst DPS winrate across ALL RANKS. I dont think that this is a Cassidy problem and rather a player problem in this case. He is not dominating anyone in the bigger spectrum.

Not Reinhardt. You should ask AKJ or Shoegazer. They would tell you otherwise. They are some of the best aimers in the forum and amazing Cassidy players, but they bow before our might!
He is trash. But most casidy and ana players aimbotting.
Aimbot is called w*****(google up, if i post here will get suspension), but there are already special cfg’s designed for them both in that aimbot.
You purshase aimbot and can choose casidy or ana cfg and can aimbot right away. Thats why they both are popular picks.

As a Cassidy enjoyer, he is so bad right now. His damage fall off range is bad, granade range is bad, ultimate ability is already bad (imagine an ultimate ability that people using it for reload lol). He became very situational pick. I used to pick him for more brawlier maps like clash or if there are 2 diving dps. Otherwise he is so bad. He is close range duelist now and if you stand close enough to enemy team, enemy kaiju tank will pop your head off. Reaper after recent buffs is good against Cassidy. Cassidy is for only close range duels against tracer and sombra right now. I can’t even play my guy anymore. Now I am playing mostly Ashe and Sojourn and its by far better overall. I am not even picking Cassidy against tracer and sombra or for a brawlier comps anymore

So, either you’re a troll, or you’re a much lower ranked player who had 1 bad match against a Masters or higher and was probably pocketed. He’s not OP, he has bad match ups like anyone else whether it’s due to the other characters ease of use, effective range, or forgiveness for missed shots (how many shots can they afford to miss in one mag for a kill).
Next you’ll say Brigitte has no counters, is too oppressive to play against, and should have 200 HP because of something like “it’s as braindead as melee, melee, bash, whip shot, dead all while she heals herself every time she hits you. What kind of idiot makes a healer that can’t heal unless she’s a Frontline brawler?”

I would personally love for the flashbang to stun again, the slow feels unimpactful.
Just like i feel that brig should have a small stun back, give mei a better freeze.
I hope these will be back with the 6v6 tests.
