Really strange how higher levels of play is essentially an echo chamber of how broken she is. You know the people who actively research and define the meta that later trickles down through the tiers?
I’m sure their problem is the inability to “adapt”.
Oh I already have started doing that. I don’t want to because I have attachment to OW. I actually TRIED TO GET BETTER. I put time in the game I loved.
It’s completely irrational for me to get upset about the existence of Brigitte.

And they probably will, but that’s still no reason to spam the forums.
They haven’t done it so far despite it being blatantly obvious since the PTR.
Here’s the thing though, they won’t play a different game. They’ll complain about her on the forums, but most will just keep coming back.

One nerf is already on the way. Pro players are saying she is op. Her kit is obnoxious. I don’t know the writing is on the walll. I’m pretty confident she will get nerfed even after the shield bash nerf goes live.

also that nerf is like a bug fix, fixes it so you get shield bashed when the shield hits you.

It’s a reduction in hit box size not a bug fix. Also her healing and maybe even how armor functions in this game will be addressed. Also her ult. It will need to have some type of decay. It’s not just “don’t play dive”. She can do some things right now that are fundamentally broken and will not make it into owl. That is why she will be nerfed. It’s going to happen dude. Get ready for it now and don’t flip out when it happens. It’s for the best.
Brig has a smaller margin of error compared to every character in the game. She has self healing, damage mitigation, smaller hit box than tanks and no ammo management. Pair this with abilities that out right deny other abilities with a larger window to successfully deploy and the favor implied perfect play from both parties still favors Brigitte.
This is a game about controlling space. Not Killing. A character where the only counter play is to abandon the space or literally force numbers advantage is limiting the possibilities of successful play against. Such is outright, destructive to balance by the definition of balance.
