Why is this character still allowed to be so oppressive.
She has the most bloated kit in the entire game.
She has a Top 3 ult in the game, insane range, crazy high dps, great mobility, and then on top of all of this, she has dynamite which is arguably the best ability for any dps in the game.
Ashe seriously needs to be looked at.
Not even close. Supports and tanks have all the best ults. A dps ult doesn’t even break into top 10.
30m before falloff is certainly on the high end in ow, far from insane imo.
She actually has low dps due to her fire rate and reload. She is one the worst heroes for breaking a barrier. She does have burst dmg if she lands the headshots tho.
Alright mobility. It’s not a very short cd, and doesn’t get her very far. But it does allow for high ground. Heroes with actual great mobility would be things like ball, doom, lucio etc.
I will give you dynamite being a great ability tho. Especially if she hits it on multiple people.
She is in the top half of dps, but not the strongest or an outlier.

Yeah, she is pretty strong, but not to an absolutely unreasonable degree like Soj IMO.
It’s not even her damage, but the ease of applying that damage. It’s simply too easy for hitscan to hit shots.
S9 is the culprit.
Hard disagree. The only ult objectively better is probably beat. Every other ult is easy to bait out or dodge completely as long as you know what you’re doing. Bob on the other hand is great at literally everything. Want to extend a fight, use bob. Want to secure a kill, use bob. Want to contest point, use bob.
Ashe and Sojurn were both good long before S9. S9 isn’t the issue. I’d even say that Ashe has been oppressive since 2020, before OW2 was even released
You really think bob is better than juno ult, kiri, grav, flux, shatter etc? Ain’t no way.
Juno ult I will give you.
Kiri’s ult genuinely isn’t that good. Kiri in general sucks.
Grav is good, but way too easy to simply just avoid it or use ability’s to counter it. Suzu, immort, any shield.
Shatter is garbage realistically
I think this is a skill issue, Ashe is not that strong and her ult is easily avoidable, her dynamite is easily cleansed. Get real.
Aww, cause top 500 dps leaderboard consisting almost exclusively of tracer, Ashe, and Sojurn must be a fluke then huh
She is literally one of the meta supports atm…… she is doing better than Ashe is.
Generally speaking I mostly agree. But Bob is one of the best DPS ults. He is a tank after all. 
Still I don’t think that it’s out of line or too strong or anything. Ashe is good but not OP.
Top 500 is what 1% of the player base ? maybe less. Not a very good analysis of her power cause those players are the best of the best.
I do agree that bob is one of the best dps ults. But best ults overall are exclusively tanks and supports, they are so much more impactful for a team. Funny you just commented, I was looking for your post of the leaderboard since the OP said ashe is everywhere in top500, when she in fact is not. Above average yes, but way below some other heroes pick rates there.
Where there are still 5 dps played more than her in top500 in na. With junk and torb not all that far behind.

Her kit is pretty stock for a rifle character, a throwable, an escape tool, and a gun.
Also you should see Baptiste.
Not really because it is one of the easiest ults to shut down in the game.
Dynamite is alright but its biggest problem is that It can be countered by basic healing.
The best DPS ability is arguably Echo’s Focus Beam because it is the best execute in the game.
I feel ya, I don’t know how players can be that good but what do you do ? is there someone you can counter switch to ?
Depends on the role you are on, I ply mostly support, so no for me.
On dps, best counter is probably widow.
On tank, I’d say Dva or Winston
She’s strong but I wouldn’t say she’s oppressive or has a bloated kit.
Bloated kit to me is like Sigma or Hazard; they can do way too many different things that cover up for their own weaknesses, so you end up cycling through them because of their relatively low cooldowns.
Ashe’s feels strong, but it does have some clear weaknesses, like the reload being uniquely slower and single-bullet.
I’d also say her ult is strong but not Top 3. Her mobility is mid, IMO.
I feel like your description (minus dynamite) fits Sojourn more.
