Put all the people with a bunch of reports and a history of leaving, being afk, or trolling/cheating into a trashcan queue. This will help incentivise good behaviour through negative reinforcement

Genuinely good idea, and I’m fine with people with a lotta reports having a lower ranking. AA more in-depth endorsement system.

honestly, im all down for this. queue time should be based on endorsement as well so it actually does something for once. it’ll also take some of the toxicity levels down. (although for this to happen we need to stop xp gain from endorsing others)

Reporting system is already being frequently exploited, especially at the higher ranks where the same 30-60 people play each other over and over again, only on multiple accounts.
People are literally grouping together on discord and using it as a denial of service attack against people they do not like, for any reason they choose, and Blizzard are either ignorant to the situation or don’t care, despite their code of conducting saying people would be punished for this very reason.

DOTA already has that, it’s called “low priority”. Works quite well actually, because getting out of it isn’t the easiest thing to do, so you try to be nice.

I would love this - being stuck in perpetual skirmish. I stick to skirmish and queue for DPS and leave the queue and rejoin every few minutes. But it keeps pulling me in to backfill with no option to leave other than to get a penalty. So I sit with 15 penalties all the time. All I want is to stay in skirmish because games are so rubbish just now. This would solve my problem in a roundabout way.

This video is a couple years old so I don’t know if the dev team feels the same way, but Jeff talks about ideas like these at 3:01. The team’s philosophy is they don’t want toxic players to play with each other, they don’t want them to play at all.
If they do add a toxic queue, there should be an option for well-adjusted people to join it. It’s fun to watch idiots rage sometimes.
