Hanzo, Ashe, Widowmaker, and that’s about all I can think of at the minute. Basically you gotta out snipe him. At least that’s how it feels

Uninstall. It’s the only escape.

Not an insult. I main Tracer and even while blinking he just clocks me effortlessly haha.

His arrows definitely feel ridiculous lately, a Hanzo with even half decent aim is just… Super obnoxious. The only ‘solution’ in my games seems to be ganging up on him or avoiding him altogether and operating in gamespaces that you know he can’t shoot you. If he has a decent team protecting him though you can’t even dive him, I’ve seen a three stack of a mercy hanzo zarya grouping that were literally untouchable before, it’s certainly possible. Between the bubbles and the res there was just nothing to be done.

I wish I could play forum Hanzo. Actual Hanzo seems to get sh*t on by everyone.

For tanks, you want to go D.Va (maybe) or Ball. For DPS, you want to go any ranged hitscan, Tracer, Genji, or Echo. For Supports, you generally shouldn’t fight him.

It’s most likely not the full list but the general tip here is remembering Hanzo is a projectile hero with a lot of burst potential. Playing outside of his range makes his job much harder, denying his massive damage output also really helps and mobility never hurts!

Time based shields, speed and long range would all make Hanzo struggle a lot.

Roadhog hook and kill. My preferred counter to everything when I don’t miss the hook.

Honestly, there isn’t anything that is great against him, Widow is good if you have really good aim, otherwise Genji is the next best thing, but Genji is weak as atm
Otherwise you’d have to try Tracer and even then, a good Hanzo will destroy a Tracer

You have to outplay the Hanzo, no free kills here.

Nothing. Dive tanks were supposed to counter him, but he just OBLITARATES Winston and D.va right now. Seriously, he counters them. Your only bet is maybe Ball if you are a good Ball.

Forget about countering him with DPS, his kit is just too generous and no DPS - not even Tracer - is good against him. At most you can expect neutral matches if your aim is very good.
