Need a dps counter to snipers which is not a sniper

I think the main issue with snipers is that, provided that the players playing them have good aim, win every match up against any other dps hero.

If we were to get a dps hero which couldnt be crit would probably help beating sniper comps without joining them.

They’re not counters if the widow knows how/when to hook and can shoot straight.

Yea them too, the OP said DPS heros so.

Like I get it, Snipers can be annoying to deal with, but it isn’t the hero that is OP, it’s the players.

Take Reaper for example, I’ve seen my brother play Reaper in Bronze, and he was not playing Reaper well at all. There have been very few heros in this game which allowed less skilled playing to climb since that hero was OP.

i only complain about widow ais when theyre on my team with ashe and spamzo … might as well give up at that point.

Really seems like you need to get smarter. The Op is about dps counters.
They want dps counters, meaning theyre acknowledging that their are tanks that counter snipers, thats why they specified.

maybe dont jump to call people dumb when you cant read the subtext of the post.

Of course.

  1. They require going in deep past the enemy team and not getting shot. A good widow positions well to avoid this.
  2. Some of them can be shot on the way for some pretty severe headshot damage.
  3. There are spots they cant get to (you try getting on the chandeleer in Eichenwalde with Hammond while being shot by the enemy team).
  4. Given the comparible cooldowns of grapple/hook/jump/boost mechanics, as i said, a widow who knows how/when to hook doesnt go down easily.

Counters are like Sombra to Hammond - hack, dead hamster. Widow vs dive tank isn’t even close.

Theres been mentioned before who are the dps counters for widow & I said the tanks who counters widow.

Nope, its a reactive thing - once the widow knows the process, there’s not much the dive tank can do apart from chase her around and retreat when her team turns round and shoots you.
