So I’m trying to practice aiming in games like aim booster and osu and obviously, at least aimbooster is in your browser which uses your native dpi. I want to match these sens’s so I was wondering which ow sens = your native dpi.
When you are in windows interface, you mouse dpi is modified by your windows pointer sensitivity. It has 10 steps and the middle one is the same as the dpi you configured for your mouse. I think you meant to say native dpi for the dpi you configured for your mouse.
In overwatch, your game sensitivity is a multiplier. The basic formula is it takes your game sensitivity and multiply it with your mouse dpi. The total determine how you look around in game.
so does that mean 1 sens is your native dpi
You can’t really match them perfectly. Games like overwatch calculate the way you look around differently than games where your cursor move around the screen. It stay in the middle.
You are trying to transfer a 3D sensitivity onto a 2D sensitivity. These sensitivities will not transfer 1:1, nor will their skills. If you want to train your aim properly I would recommend a 3D aim trainer.
