Nano bug is annoying

Hey, I am an Ana main trying to enjoy my games of overwatch. While for the most part I don’t have complaints, I’ve realised there’s been a bug recently.

A lot of times while I am nanoboosting teammates, not only do they die before the nano registers but I also lose my ultimate. I didn’t have that issue in the past seasons though. Mind you, before any smartass speaks up. There was no antis involved or one shot ults like d.va ults in those fights. My teammates genuinely did not receive the nano, nor its benefits and I also lost it. I think this bug has significantly affected the tide of many matches I’ve had and it’s pretty annoying. Hopefully I get answers and a fix.

nano has a short cast time during which it can be canceled if ana is stunned/killed or the target dies, the former stops the nano from ever being sent and the latter results in the nano being sent, but the target dying before it can connect

is it possible this is happening?

if that’s the case they gotta fix it, nano feels so annoyingly buggy lately, it’s losing me GAMES, I can’t stand it anymore man. Like the cast time should be faster

i hate to say it but that’s been in the game since ow1, unfortunately, the best thing you can do is to nano someone quicker

Not only is there a cast time while she holds out her wrist, there is also a very short travel time from Ana to target. I have experienced this plenty of times throughout the game’s lifetime. You just have to nano people before they’re at a one. By that point it’s probably too late. This is by design and not a bug. I mean, the ult is technically her injecting the target with a syringe, we’re lucky she can dart it over to people at a distance instead of needing to be next to them :joy:
