When Ana has her ultimate, there are only 3 things that happen…

Scenario 1:

allied Genji/Soldier/Reinhardt uses ultimate alone across the map behind 5 walls
“Ana, why didn’t you nano me? You just lost us the game!”

Scenario 2:

“You’re powered up, get in there!”
IQ drops to 0

Scenario 3:

“You’re powered up, get in there!”
“Team Kill!”

I JUST SHOT ALL 5 SHOTS AS ROADHOG! I HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE!!

Or when you nano Tracer because she blinked in front of you. Good stuff, hearing them freak out, and then watching them blink into combat to die.

Gets booped off map after starting ult.

Oh gosh, am I scenario 2. I hate gettin nano’d, too much pressure so I muck up even worse than normal. :V

… I’m Reinhardt, and there’s no one even close to me. In fact they’re all spread out so no matter who i go after it’d be a wasted ult.
BUT I’M POWERED UP SO I MUST CHARGE INTO A WALL AND FIRESTRIKE A BUSH OFF IN THE DISTANCE

Also please don’t nanoboost me when playing junkrat - 90% of the time this happens I can’t help but to think it would have been a much wiser move to nanoboost the soldier or the reinhardt or basically anyone else. Maybe I’m playing him wrong but I find it difficult the get any proper usage out of it.

A good Ana is a godsend tho when playing Rein, just the other day I happened to have one on my team and the nanoboost timing was perfect and resulted in me quintuple killing the bad guys and taking over the point. I felt that the Ana player should have also been credited in the POTG… Would love to have a team work POTG for comboing ultimates like that.

This is why I also want the Nano to work for healing. I tend to hold on to Nano forever because unless you have a Winston you really ought to only use it in combinations with ults, and it’s so common for people to pull their ults when you are still walking back from spawn (and as Ana you tend to do that a lot). It would be so nice to be able to give it to the other healer and have the pool of “situations where Nano boost isn’t a complete waste” increased.

There’s also nano self destruct, nano tranquility, and 98% of nano primal rages because wasting two ults is better than one :expressionless:
