So we have JQ naming her knife Gracie and her axe Carnage,
& Mauga naming his guns Gunny & Cha-cha.
What do you think would be some fitting names for some of the other heroes’ weapons/tools?
My only suggestion; since Torb refers to his turret as his baby, it should be called Brigit-two.
The turret came first I’m sure so Brigit-one
Reins Shield should be called Löwe and the Hammer should be called Adler
Widows Rifle is called the Widows Kiss, and she will probably also call Venom Mine just that.
Widows whole character is build around that her true personality is surpressed as she herself is just a living Weapon.
The Name/Title “Widowmaker” is mainly used for Weapons.
Maybe it should be Widows Sting then? I would honestly call the sniper “Widows Bite” but Destiny did it in reference to her since.
You know, I wanted to come up with something clever or funny for Mercy’s gun, but… I couldn’t.
Maybe someone else will be able to succeed where I failed.
For Genji, the agile and precise ninja, his shurikens could be called ‘Whispering Winds’. Like the quiet approach before a lift, they are silent but deadly.
Now, let’s think about Tracer. She’s fast, she’s energetic, she’s always on the move. Just like a good cardio session. So, I would name her Pulse Pistols ‘Heartbeats’.

Reaper - Doom and Gloom
Sigma Barrier - Aegis
Illari - Sol
Pretty sure Reaper’s guns already have a name. Something like “Hellfire.”
Also would be pretty pointless to name them since, y’know… he throws them away every ten seconds.
I believe Ashe’s rifle is called the Viper, could be wrong though.
Mercy’s pistol is “Second Opinion”.
Brigitte’s Mace is Manni/Nott and her shield is Sol/Dag, because when you get hit in the face with a mace it’s nap time… (I hate the little symbols on letters mmkay, don’t @ me)
Mercy’s pistol is called Sigurd because why not, her staff’s (although it has a name) nickname is Bryn
Casserole’s revolver is called Cow-wards, because when he ults people run away and die anyway
Orisa’s spear/javelin is Gungnir, although it doesn’t work ethnically I think it’s fun
Now we just need Dansleif…
Jormungandr is Sym’s wall because it goes on indefinitely, although ethnically doesn’t work
