Name was changed and I'm unable to change it back

Hello. I’ve been trying to write a ticket to resolve this issue but apparently there’s no form for one for this kind of stuff so I’m desperately turning to the forums.

I’ve lived through a couple of enforced name changes by now. It gets flagged a lot apparently, but so far it hasn’t been a problem with Blizzard ToS (as far as I know). If you want my perspective my name is kind of gay and sometimes me and other players bond over it and start being a little fruity in all/team chat. I’m not new to games so I know it will grind some people’s gears and eventually I’ll end up with a few reports for whatever reason. Being a little gay and playing a little bad, you know how it is, people will get angry and report just because they’re angry.

This happened before, but every time I had the ability to change my name if it was due to reports. This time however I’m just stuck with a little bit of a lame name and my only way to get it back is paying.

Is there anything to do about this? If there’s a ticket link anyone can send me where I can message blizzard support instead of forums that’d be awesome. But so far I’m bummed because I lost my identity and can’t do anything about it.

Thank you in advance.

I just found an end to a wild ride of having ‘something’-ussy forcibly name changed 11 times. I finally contacted support about it and I should have done it sooner as they informed me it indeed was against TOS. Meanwhile I have encountered a J3wSlayer in my games multiple times a day 3 times in a row. When I turned off streamer mode, I would get instantly reported or within the hour and kicked from my game to the name change. Incredible that that many people are that violently offended at that. Meanwhile, I told my friend about the Slayer name I kept encountering and was reporting and they told me they were reporting it it to. Why didn’t an actual name about genocide of my race immediately get THEM kicked from the game and not within THREE DAYS? I only just finally stopped seeing them I believe. Meanwhile I continue to see dozens of people with some form of -ussy or outright bussy in their name a week/month, and I don’t think most of them are that offensive at all.

So tldr what I’ve learned is if you actually care that much about keeping your name and paying to change it again, it sucks but keep on streamer mode. That was the only thing keeping mine from not getting reported. Except when some freak actually checked my real name mid match with the streamer name checking glitch (you block them then look for the real name in the block list) just to call it out in the lobby, report it, and get me kicked from the match. But most people aren’t THAT sick.

You have to go to Support > Get Help > and try to navigate to where you want to write about something not categorized and ask them “hey is my name actually against TOS, is it wrong or not that it keeps getting reported and changed?”. Because they stop supplying name changes to you if its actually TOS, but you’ll have to hear from a human being if it really is. If they decide its not TOS theres a chance they’ll let you change it back without paying.
