I saw this coming unfortunately. In the Season 11 Battle Pass you’ll get 80 mythic prisms. But now we have 2 things to spend those on. Ashe will have a skin and Rein will have a weapon.
So, you have to pick one because you don’t get enough prisms for both. Or you have to spend money to buy prisms which are absolutely ridiculously overpriced.
Or. This season I was content with base mythic mercy (w/gold weapon of course). So I’m carrying over 30 “prisms” to next season.
It hinges on what they set their prices at.
But yeah. Not unexpected to me either. Exploiting in-game currency by devs is the name of the game in F2P 
For sure. Said this to my wife the moment I found out about the mythic rein weapon and she agreed. You are gonna get 80 mythic tokens in the BP, but in order to get ALL parts of the mythic skin, AND the weapon, youll need like…120 mythic tokens…FORCING you to give up part of the mythic skin, OR buy tokens…
The scum factor of blizz CONTINUES to shock me somehow…
It basically means we go from being able to have fully kitted Mythics every season for $10 to once again having to budget one of 6 currencies and spend a ton more money if we wanted everything

It’s easy to pass on the Ashe skin here.
Which is funny since the other option is a weapon, on a role I can’t play with randos.
Back in my day you used to buy the game and then get every cosmetic just by playing it.
Nobody needs any of the skins. But I want them. And until this season I could get all Mythics for a reasonable amount. So I’m unhappy they are taking away yet another thing and being even greedier than they already were.
They said in the season run down article that the base for Rein’s weapon will be 50 Prisms.
You literally cannot even get the bare minimum of both without dropping money or having only got a partial or no Mythic this season.
Good thing they both look mid.
This is why people are weary when games introduce multiple forms of currency in their games.

Yea the price is nutty. Weapon skins should be like 50 Prisms for full unlock at most.

blizzard is a business. they’re gonna give you some free stuff, but they’re also gonna try to sell you some stuff.

It’s the weapon OR the Mythic skin for Ashe. You can’t get both free from just the season 11 Battle Pass
you didn’t pay for overwatch 2.
you were playing overwatch 1 when i was playing Destiny 1, lol.
