I really like playing total mayhem, and I like mystery heroes. I think it’d be awesome if the two were combined. How many others would enjoy this game play?
I came here to suggest the same thing. After searching, I see several threads beat me to it, this being the most recent.
Mystery Heroes is great for forcing people out of One Trick land and getting used to heroes they’re not in the habit of playing. I find that Mayhem makes me more inclined to do that myself, as the reduced cooldown and increased health pool make it less of an issue if I screw up landing an ability, as the cost of failure is lower- it’ll cool down soon enough and won’t necessarily get me killed.
I almost never play Mystery Heroes because I don’t enjoy playing Heroes I’m less skilled with. I totally get why it’s permanently in the arcade, though, as it has a purpose that is good for the game. If, however, there were a Mystery Mayhem mode, that reluctance would be almost totally eliminated, and what remained would be more than compensated for by knowing that Mystery mode is good for me as a player, and for the game as a whole.
So I beseech (in case such antiquated idiom may sway blue texters) you to consider adding Mystery Mayhem mode, as I suggest to you that there is a relatively large audience that would play it but which would never play vanilla Mystery. And I think that would be good for the game.
And a lot of fun.
No the game mode would pretty much be impossible to win. Total mayhem is fun but pretty much has a required team comp in order to win. The moment either team got a key pick (like Winston, zarya, moira, etc) they’d have such an enormous advantage over the enemy team. It would be beyond frustrating to not be able to counter pick in a mode that so heavily relies on specific picks to have a chance.
It’d basically form a game mode that is all the worst parts of both game modes.
Whoever gets Sombra wins
