My Sombra gun doesn’t sound like other Sombra guns… How do I fix it? It’s been an issue since the first beta, and it’s like this every game. Linked is a clip of what it sounds like.

They redid a bunch of the sound design in this game, most heroes weapons sound different
I’ve listened to the sounds of other people’s sombra gun from their recordings and streams of Overwatch 2. They do not sound like this. Theirs sound like an actual gun. Mine sounds more like glitchy bubble popping. It’s much easier to hear what I’m talking about with headphones on. Really compare it to the recordings of other people’s Overwatch 2.
not gonna lie i think this sounds so good, i no its been a couple of months but saw someone else’ was making this sound and wondered how i could get it
Hey there, I had just the same issue not only with Sombra’s gun, but with automatic guns in general, i.e. soldier, tracer, sojourn etc.
I just figured out that if I change the default sound device to my headphones, the sound on those heroes gets back to normal. This is so weird since my headphones are normally a defaut device even without that specific change. Anyways hope that helps you
