My sad method to fun currently S12

So.

I literally can’t play tank. The newest way of players are so bad they are polluting the game scene for us right now.

Just judging by their habits and well…non adaptive behavior to how a match progresses, I’ve been almost at a 90% prediction rate at identifying prpblematic players.

I’m talking people who throw. Players who go onpy full offense supports. Predictable dps who play for cool factor. Selfish players. Emotional players who flame teammates.

This is starting to become reappy problematic, because now it’s just super rare to even yet a decent teammate in a match.

I had actually asked players in a couple matches ingame “is the quality of players dropping?”.

I got different replies from players who excuse this surge of decreased gameplay quality to Juno’s release. Others claim that is just the game dying, because several other good games are being released soon. Some just say cultural differences in countries. Messed up but that was their answer.

Now explanation out of the way. Let me share with you how I’m having fun currently.

And for once in an entire season, I do not want to tank.

I get on Sombra and bully these bad players. I then watch my bad teammates struggle.

Basically I’m playing janitor for clean kills or only going to cheap flanks to secure kills for myself.

Now I have minimal time on Sombra. I barely play her. Yet…for some reason I’m beating out my dps partner on damage and elimns with a fraction of their deaths.

The only way I’m enjoying the game right now is just nearing witness to other players who play worse then me on other roles.

I am literally wild life expert just stalking and following wild creatures and watching either their success or demise in the game.

All while I just fill this weird need for easy kills just to feel something good for once in the game.

I know it’s petty and I’m highlt qgainst such playstyle, but nothing else actually feeps gratifying or genuienely fun anymore.

Tanks get bullied or have to bully. Supports gettint cheesed over and over again dps can longer durl anythnf rhwy want in roster for free.

honestly i can only play tank

every other role and hero: 50%-60% win rate

wrecking ball: uhhhhhhhhh

:hamster::+1:

I’m so fed up with gettinf bullied and my team never helping me to where I became a bully.

That’s why this so sad for me.

I prefer skill over cheese and all I’m doing for fun is just hacking randoms and killing isolated players who don’t know better. For a petty giggle.

That’s not me and I’m honestly ashamed of it. Yet if I go back to mt honorable Ball I just get bullied and left out to dry.

well to be perfectly honest. i havent bothered to grind ranked at all lately; ive only ever played a handful of ranked games (won most of them, but didnt climb higher than gold before i stopped)

i just spend most of my time chillin and vibin in unranked, but at the same time it makes me want to get back into ranked. most of these qp matches are free game for me; i throw enemies to the wolves or isolate them for me to pick, with fingers crossed that no one follows me unless they are dive dps, and they just stay on objective

so far it works pretty well for me, especially with duo or trio that knows i main hammond, and even if i do get bullied, i can still force out important resources and take fights i will likely win

here is some of my primitive hamster gameplay if it means anything… ill get better i promise

Blizzard matchmaking guy: Hooray! Group respawns have really improved the quality of matches!

My QP games, since I’m not about to expose myself to the horrors of the rank reset just yet:

qp-stomp-134

A few more scoreboards.

qp-stomp-132
qp-stomp-133a
qp-stomp-136

Hm. Yeah. Cool.

Can no longer duel. period. Rarely was it ever free before, unless you were playing meta DPS.

Now it’s just flat out impossible to do anything at all, unless you’re playing meta DPS.

people are really uncoordinated and uncooperative in quickplay, the group respawn barely does anything to increase match quality

though i did notice that this plays a little too much into hamsters game plan and makes games too simple to win when all you have to do is make the enemy turn around or go out of position and their fate is sealed

cant count how many times people just dont regroup or get staggered

Just imagine that Develpers need to create a Respawn Wave so players can regroup xD

Seems like Reaper is quite the seasonal meta dps right now

Only with one/two of the four pocket heroes that got buffed this season. Having characters that can negate his lack of speed, lack of damage, and lack of survivability significantly improves his impact on the game.

He hasn’t changed at all since last season, where he was struggling to even do anything, so the changes that he benefited from were changes that most other characters also benefited from that were also significantly stronger than him last season.

He’s still tethered to other characters in other roles in order to provide meaningful value and as soon as that’s gone, so is he.

That’s how all meta dps work though? You are finding excuses at this point.

Not really. There are a lot of self-sufficient DPS who excel even without a pocket. Sombra, Tracer, and Cass being recent ones I can think of.

McCree has no self sustain and no escape, he is very dependent on the right supports, and Tank.

Same for Tracer and Sombra, yeah they can escape but they cant deal any decisive damage if they cant be healed by the right supports or have a good teamwork with their Tanks. Just try playing Tracer when the rest of your team go poke with Illari and Ana or Bap and see how frustrating it is.

Doesn’t need it. Hard CC extra health and a kit thay allows for 12 ridiculous headshot crits. So before he even gets a full ability rotation a Mccree singlehandedly has the potential to kill 4 squishies.

That is absurd.

It might come as a foreign concept to you, but if i could hit that many crit shots i will be up against enemies who can do the same, using heroes who can outrange and outmaneuver a slow moving big target like Cree.

Cree doesn’t need self-sustain nor an escape tool because he has 30m of range to play with. He’s not entering the backline, nor does he need to stray away from his team to provide value.

Reaper is required to flank in the backline because face tanking Tanks doesn’t work anymore. The only way for him to provide value is to get in close to the enemy squishies, mainly the supports who are ten miles out from the safety of his own team. His damage is useless until he gets within a certain threshold and his self-healing is useless even within that threshold.

They absolutely can and they’re even being paraded as Support-killing menaces this season. Both are also self-sufficient because of their mobility allowing them to traverse the map for health packs with relative ease. They are quite literally the poster children of independent flankers.

wait, so you act very arrogant, analyze teammates over what? 1-4 minutes of gameplay then try and harass them as "punishment’ for not playing the way you want them to?

This isn’t a flex, its just depressing. Go play something you like. Literally anything.

What is wrong with people? lmao.

Even playing widow, we often kill each other in the duel.

Like Sym, Sombra, Mei? Torb, Pharah, Echo.

Admit it. Mccree still holds one of the quickest and easiest TTKs to consistently perform.

While his weakness is lacking RANGE even Pros have done the dreaded multi elimns in a single clip with no help from their teams.
