It’s with how all his long range one shots are luck based. He’s really the only projectile hero I’d say should have fall off. But judging by how blizzard balances one shots they’d likely make the fall off range from here to Narnia.
I wholeheartedly agree. They should’ve given him falloff from the beginning
Yeah. If Hanzo wasn’t a gamble to engage with at every range, he’d be faaaaaar less frustrating to play against.
Pharah being a top pick sounds fun for nobody
What in the heck? That surely can’t be right, Lifeweaver had a 41% win rate and we all know how trash he was
It’s the first week after the patch so time is needed for the stats to level out
I wouldn’t say long ranged1 shots are luck based, as there are only 2 heroes who can do that, and widow certainly isn’t luck. I do agree that in general hitting shots with projectile weps at long range is a lot of luck. Shoot into a group, or around head level and hope they strafe into it instead of away.
Even with fall-off you’re looking at random, lucky one-shots that prevent the fight from being fair enough that you can win it. At best you’re looking at Hanzo with 10% arrow accuracy who can’t hit the broad side of a barn. At worst you’re not fixing anything with fall-off.
Clearly the stats in that pic are inaccurate. And this isn’t the normal small sample size / hidden profiles argument. Something must just be wrong there. There is no way pharah is the most played dps, or that win rates are that low on all those heroes.
Long range death by arrow don’t happen as often as some people suggest. Yes it happens, but if Hanzo can climb by doing that he would be standing next to widow in the far corners of the map.
It sounds like some people want hitscan arrows.
People never consider how inconsistent Hanzo is and how there are tons of memes and videos of players missing the broad side of a barn.
Something is wrong with overbuff. The stats for ALL HEROES vs ROLE is different. The one that looks at each role seems very off. The all heroes section makes more sense.
It’s driven by QP pick rates. In Comp Pharah has like 2%, in QP she has 7% for whatever weird reason. Could be a bug, idk, I don’t play enough QP to judge whether that’s true or not.
How does Overbuff know what QP pick rates are over time, anyway? There are no seasons to indicate time. Might have something to do with that. Maybe 10 QP Pharah mains decided to open up their profiles all at once
