Pretty much every comp I’ve played in placement, some troll just sits there in the corner of the map, or I loose connection.

Honestly at this point, I’d take a disconnect over some of the losses I’ve had. Twice on junkertown the enemy team put everything they had holding front door of first spawn; not a single person on my team thought to go right the entire round on offence -_-
If you’re a DVa and you get your ult relatively fast, just throw it in the enemy spawn.
You know you are gonna lose when you have silver and gold portraits in your low rank placement games lol. Even during mid season, if you see really high level players in your low elo games, its an automatic loss. They tend to not care as often and will always choose picks like widow and ana or genji. I mean I cant blame them, playing for so long and stuck in an elo. I made pact with myself if I cant leave gold before getting silver portrait I will just buy new account.
lmao I always think how someone plays enough to have a gold portrait and still be hanging in gold with me

They either play with friends or they just don’t care… Like when my stack was hard charging for masters I did not even bother to play for the 7 more wins I might of needed. I just didn’t care.
I’ve been a higher ranked player before in other games the need for that nerd validation in Overwatch isn’t there as much.

Placement don’t really mater and everyone starts out some where. Ya just got play calm for lack of a better term. Players at lower SR all want to do the cool crap they see a 4.3+ streamer do and you (we) can’t unless one is also 4.3+ being backed by a 4k+ level team.
Just play safe and let the other team screw up. People love to pitch how you just carry out of gold. Over looking you can win games all the way up into masters just by making less errors. That’s a totally different mindset then “I have to make a HUGE high risk, high reward play right now!!”. There 3+ min left, payload is moving and you’re technically winning. You don’t need that big risky play.

I won my first 6 placements, with leavers/trolls on the other team for all 6. I lost the next 4 because the leavers/troll were on my team. Competitive is useless, and it’s impossible to actually know your skill when it’s the luck of the draw whether it will be 5v6 or 6v5
