So I did my first 7 placements. I got all throwers on my team and the enemy
team didn’t. So I was wondering if there was a change in the competitive system.
In the past I barely got any throwers on my team and now I’m getting qued up tons and tons. I lost all my 7 placements. I had one guy who kept switching heroes. No one playing Healer or Tank and A Guy Playing Hanzo.
I’m in low gold.
If throwers are in all your rounds, maybe you should consider how you’re interacting with your team. If your team isn’t deliberately playing badly, you can help them by keeping a good attitude and communicating well!
Is this your first season or have you played competitive before?
If you have played comp before don’t worry about it, the placement games mean effectively nothing.
I lost all 10 of mine last season and placed higher than where i finished the previous season.
If it is your first season, it works from your QP stats as well.
TL;DR placements mean nothing, hence the high number of throwers.
I doubt they were throwers, you just had a bad team. In today games, anytime your team is bad, cant aim, heal like crap, everyone says they are throwers. Why cant they just be bad? A thrower would be someone who just jumps and dances in spawn, is that what was happening?

The amount of times people confuse “bad” with “throwing” is laughable.
Everyone has a bad game occasionally, everyone gets out played occasionally and there is not much they can do.
It happens.
Color me skeptical, but I don’t think this is true.
