My pc is getting too hot, i think(help)

Hello, I am new with gaming pc, I used an all in over Lenovo for like 5 years,
I bought this package from Aegis RS 10TE-058US

I just play Overwatch and Wow Shadowlands.

My case has 6 fans along with 3 more fans with the video card
Power supply I think it is Toughpower 750W
the cooling system I am using, I am almost sure it is MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R V2 - AIO ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler - Rotating Cap Design - LGA 1700 Ready - 240mm Radiator - Dual 120mm ARGB PWM Fans (but I might be wrong)

It goes as high as 76 degrees with Socket Temperature and CPU temperature is always like 80 degrees and even 100 degrees.
Video card goes like 64 and 70 degrees.
Playing overwatch at the highest game’ settings.
For wow it stay below 70 degrees. (not playing raids lately).

Video Card
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
Chipset NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

Hardware T&L Yes
Total Menmory 42 GB
Dedicated Memory 10 GB

Pixel Shader Version 5.1
Plug and Play ID VEN_10DE&DEV_2216&SUBSYS_38961462&REV_A1

Vendor ID 10DE
I changed the video car to a ventus LHR 10g

Running window 10 64bit/PRO

Should I be worry in short time, or my guess is right it will be damaged over the time?
Is it normal for a gaming pc playing AAA games to be that hot in less than 15 minutes?
Any solutions, I thinking to change the cooling system and the case for one bigger, but idk what to buy yet…

This sounds too technical for a forum like this…

Lol. Oh. That’s high? I play at the lowest settings and my gpu is always at 80-83 degrees lmao. RIP my PC. :joy:

I would recommend getting a small fan :dash:

70-80 max is acceptable. Anything more is worrying.
if all fans are working and there is no dust inside, make sure you aren’t overclocking and that you haven’t forgot to put thermal paste.

While those temps are not really worrying (besides the 100 degree spikes) they are still rather high for a 240 liquid cooler and 6 case fans.

Maybe the cooler isn’t mounted correctly to the CPU?
Or is the case ā€œsuffocatingā€ the fans due to having a massive plastic/glass front panel with little to no airflow that makes the front panel fans kinda pointless?

If the system is new/within warranty contact the seller and describe your problem, maybe they are able to help you.

Otherwise go to a local PC store that also does repairs.
They should be able to track down and fix the problem rather quickly.

Yeah, that is too hot. You want to keep them under 80.

Yeah, the rule of thumb is 80 degrees or less really.

It is also overclocked within an inch of it’s life, which is more likely to be causing the problems.

Like… take these two lines.

See the issue?

Clocking a 3.7 Ghz processor to 5.3? oooof. That is a big ask.

Not really…

My gpu goes up to 95 with fans and so… Cpu stays at 60.

Depends on the card… I bet 3080 can go up to 100 and its fine.

he says his CPU is hitting 100.

Also I don’t think 95 is healthy for GPU either.

Sounds like either an airflow problem, or the cooling isnt functioning correctly.

Are you still within warranty? RMA it?

Or that they overclocked it within an inch of it’s life… have a look at the processor, and what they are running it at.

Dude, each up on the over clocking, just because your Bios has a ā€œset it all to the most it thinks it can handleā€ it doesn’t mean it will wear that kind of abuse.

New cards are getting hotter… But yes cpu 100 is too high.

Could be the AIO being at fault see this message from MSI at the timestamp given [Preformatted text](https://youtu.be/U7uBkjehgQk?t=559)

That cooling should be able to handle that.

I havent put any thermal paste, i bought one, but it is under warranty yet, I don’t know well what it is overclocking( will google it).

it isn’t just cooling when you push it that far.

I think 5.3 GHz is the usual Turbo Boost for a 10900K and should be able to run without problems with a 240 radiator.

There is problaly a problem but a short term solution colud be to limit the fps to 120 or 144. That should effect temp if not already done.

You need thermal paste plus somekind of cpu radiator/water cooler as well

In that case better not touch any of that.

4.8 GHz is.

5.3 is someone setting it to be pushed pretty hard.
