You have a real chance to make Brigitte a more skillful character, and you’re going in the opposite direction. Inspire isn’t exciting, it’s just something that happens and gives you value, and now Brigitte is going to be even less active than before.
If anything, you should nerf Inspire and put more power into other parts of her kit. Give her a faster whipshot so Brigittes can snipe people, or a shorter cooldown on her armour pack. I don’t think anyone really likes Inspire that much.
If she uses all her abilities on a flanker she now deals a total of like 110 dmg ish, what will the flanker do ? Blink or dash away to nearest healthkit, heal up, go back and harass with brig having all her cooldowns spent, except repairpack, and then flanker is free to harass the backline pretty much freely.
Except, as I said, she will just get a healthpack, and most of the cases her Recall will still be up due to her having 40 hp left, which means even if brig got in another swing she wouldnt die, she would blink to a healthkit, pick it up, And go right back to harassing, with recall up.
All the band-aid compensation ‘buff’ will do is move her closer to a Lucio role (but with less healing, harder boop, less damage, and less speed than Lucio)
But don’t worry, she has a 500HP wet leaf shield to survive a little bit with (just ignore how anyone can shatter it with one clip of ammo usually)
I think you need inspire to be stronger to give her more value during the actual teamfight. She can’t instantly delete heroes anymore. She can still do damage. Her new flail-bash-whip combo does 110dmg. That’s still good but not as good as 155. So making up for it with better healing is a start. I actually think they would be justified in increasing her hp to 300 if they really want to go down the tank/support hybrid route.
